Last week, Dr. Jan Philipp Czakert, Emilia Wietrak, Erasmus Keli Swanzy, Rita Berger shared a presentation titled "LEVERAGING AI FOR AUTHENTIC ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY CASE STUDIES: A WORK-LIFE FLOW EXAMPLE" at the 16th International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies. The work, part of the Innovative Educational Technologies track under GENERATIVE AI IN EDUCATION, delved into how AI can enhance teaching organizational psychology with real-world applications. Specifically, generative AI was used to create an innovative organizational psychology case study - called "THE DYNAMICS OF REMOTE LEADERSHIP: EXPLORING WORK-LIFE-FLOW AT BARCELONA GREEN" - focusing on the concept of Work-Life-Flow and leadership for remote and hybrid work arrangements. Check out the full paper for detailed insights and methodology in the upcoming publication EDULEARN24 Proceedings. Vanderbilt University has recognized Professor Alex Christensen for his exceptional use of generative AI in education, awarding him the Innovation in Teaching: Generative AI Award. As an Assistant Professor of Psychology and Human Development and an affiliate faculty member of the Data Science Institute (DSI), Professor Christensen integrates his expertise in data science to enhance interdisciplinary learning environments. He has developed tools that allow students to generate their own practice quizzes, improving engagement and understanding of complex concepts. Professor Christensen emphasizes the importance of transparency and integrity in using AI in education. He envisions a future where generative AI is integrated into classrooms, allowing students to do more faster, but also highlights the value of deep knowledge and human-to-human interactions. This news is positive for the generative AI industry as it showcases the innovative use of AI in education and highlights its potential to enhance learning experiences. #AIinEducation #GenerativeAI #Innovation

In the age of Ai, thinking outside the expected algorithm is an asset for innovation. This study explores the crucial role of human skills like empathy and ethical judgment in AI applications within higher education. It emphasizes how neurodivergent perspectives can enhance human-AI collaboration. With diverse teams performing better in innovation, incorporating neurodiversity in AI development can help overcome biases and foster ethical interactions. The technology sector's DEI initiatives offer a blueprint for supporting neurodivergent individuals in academia. By engaging the neurodivergent population, which constitutes 15-20% of the disclosed global total, we can improve employment outcomes and the ethical and innovative quality of educational AI systems. This paper advocates for an ed-tech landscape expanding the boxes of human intelligence to reflects core human values. #Ai #HumanAdvantage #Neurodiversity #Inclusion #Education https://lnkd.in/g_WpPWdY
