From sustainable chemicals to advanced protein solutions, biomanufacturing has the potential to transform industries—but only if we build the infrastructure to support it. 🧬🌾 The US is uniquely positioned with its vast agricultural resources. By scaling up fermentation facilities, we can capitalize on these feedstocks and reduce dependence on overseas production. But this can’t happen without the support of government initiatives to help build out this critical capacity. BioMADE, a partnership with the DOD and industry including Novonesis, is a great first step in addressing pilot-scale capacity. There is still much more to do.
