Recruiters! Let's raise the bar on professionalism When posting job opportunities on LinkedIn, please include: - A clear job description - Required skills and qualifications - Salary range or benefits - A direct link to apply or contact information (email or WhatsApp) - Avoid the words like then hit like and comment if interested. Reposting: I knew everyone encountered this! Candidates have experience in the following areas Dear Applicant, We regret to inform you... We appreciate your time... Thank you for your interest... You have not been selected... We'll keep your details on file... We've already filled this position... There were a large number of candidates... We're moving forward with other applicants... We selected a candidate with more experience... We're delighted to offer you a full-time position with us. You can be rejected hundreds of times & still land a job. Rejection is part of the process. Not the end of your story. How about letting them experience the kind of work which the employer are posting for vacancy position. As far as I'm concern, these applicants will not submit the Resume if they are not qualified or not capable to do the certain task. Just sayin'. #HRDepartment #Multitaskingemployee #Jobopportunity

Most job ads I read are really poorly written. 😕 They MISS 7 key things 🔽 💰 Transparent salary ranges → Reflecting the role's responsibilities 📦 Comprehensive compensation packages → Encouraging candidates to apply 📋 Full role responsibilities → Highlighting the skills needed for CVs 📈 Development opportunities → Showing a focus on progression 👐 Non-gender biased language → Promoting diversity in applications 🔑 Skill-based keywords → Attracting match skilled candidates 🏠 Clear working arrangements → Setting expectations and saving applicants' time 73% of people find job hunting stressful. Stop with the fluffy ads ☁️ Create something that attracts the right candidates and makes it easy for them to apply. Be clear. Be precise. Be honest.

There are many times we are putting together a job posting for a position we're hiring for - and we're not quite sure how to write it, so we wing it. And what we do is inadvertently, we create a job description that looks like a trap. #hiring #recruitment #jobseeker #jobhunting #hiring #jobseeking #jobposting #jobdescription #HR #career #HumanResources #careerdevelopment

During hiring, candidates often get turned down for reasons like : -Asking for a high salary? Rejected -No experience? Rejected -A gap in employment? Rejected -Too experienced? Rejected -Limited English? Rejected To HR instead of looking for a flawless candidate, recognize that skills can be trained, but potential is priceless. A candidate’s value is more than their resume ,Attributes like passion, commitment, and a drive to improve are qualities you can’t always quantify ! Give people the opportunity to prove their worth!!

Grinding my way through job applications today I came across a company that really cares about hiring generalists! How did I know? 1: they put 'generalist' in the job title 😁 2: they used Applied for their unbiased application form. I want to pause to recognise how great this felt. I'm constantly revising and editing my CV to try to highlight whatever collection of competencies a job posting seems to require, but as a generalist with a very squiggly career path, I never feel like I've got the message across. With Applied, I was being asked to show off my unique skills and perspectives as they 'applied' (yes, nice naming convention) to the unique roll I'd love to land! Companies: please hire more generalists, it's not so hard, and we'll rock your world! Generalist World 🌀 #generalist #unbiased

Messaging Tip: When you message a recruiter, avoid messages like "Hi, how are you?" without a purpose. Instead, follow this format: Hello [Recruiter's Name], I'm looking for a job in [Job Title]. I have experience in [Qualification]. My salary expectation is [Salary]. I prefer to work in [Location]. My current package is [Current Salary]. My notice period is [Notice Period]. Email: [Your Email] Tel: [Your Phone Number] Please let me know if there's a suitable role. Thank you, [Your Name] This gives them the info they need quickly to see if there's a match. Good luck with your job search! #JobSearchTips #JobSearchStrategies #RecruitmentTips #Careeradvice #JobHunt #copied

Do you always save the job requirements after applying for a position? Do you thoroughly read the job descriptions?" Many job seekers do not! Based on my experience in the HR field over the past 5 years, this can be a significant oversight. In most of the recruitments I’m involved in, more than 30% of the applications are not relevant to the job advertised! The first critical step in the job application process is to thoroughly understand what the role entails. If you meet the minimum requirements, you should consider applying. I will be sharing helpful information to assist you in your job search. Are you interested in learning more? Let me know in the comments!” #job_seekers #Sharing_knowledge #HR
