Last day of ADIPEC 2024. Same energy and more memories to look back. We do not say Good Bye but we say See You Soon in ADIPEC 2025. Years to come full of success for our dearest ADIPEC the world biggest event for professionals. We have learned a lot and shared our views. We have met many professionals we have learned from. The best thing in this version of ADIPEC is the harmony and integration between different disciplines. The AI and robotics/drones technologies become a crucial part of our lovely oil and gas industry. Now the impossible become possible with the huge progress in technologies related to energy while protecting our planet Earth. It become obvious that governments are committed to climate change and renewable energy while balancing the production of our black gold (crude oil). More and more to come in the next version of ADIPEC. Until 2025 I urge all technological bodies to explore the electrification of our upstream/downstream sides of our business as I think this type of technology will assist our efforts to minimize impact on our environment while maintaining our goals of production and cost optimization. This is my personal views and I am sure other professionals will add more to it. The list can go on endlessly because I personally believe technology will last forever as long as humankind exists. ADIPEC 2024 has concluded, having made history with a record number of attendees, industry executives and international ministers uniting to accelerate sustainable socioeconomic progress for the world. Held under the theme of ‘Connecting Minds. Transforming Energy’, we marked 40 years of energy leadership this year, and gathered a record-breaking 205,139 participants from 172 countries. The numbers indicate a stronger and more diverse increase in global participation, up by more than 20,000 attendees compared to last year. Participants advanced the call to action by His Excellency, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, to unlock the transformative potential of emerging markets, the growth of artificial intelligence (AI) and energy system transformation. The ADIPEC Conferences featured four new conferences that welcomed new voices from technology and AI, finance, youth and the Global South. Across 370 sessions, attendees heard from more than 1,800 international speakers, including 40 ministers, on the economic opportunity that can be realised by collaborating across sectors. The event was the most successful edition in its 40-year history and delivered more than US$10 billion cross-sector deals through multiple strategic partnerships.
