Households are set for some relief on their energy bills from April. Energy regulator Ofgem has set the latest price cap beginning April 1 to June 30, 2024, and it means the typical household will pay £1,690 per year who use electricity and gas and pay by Direct Debit. This is £238 lower than the cap set between 1 January to 31 March 2024 (£1,928). The price cap is based on typical household energy use. You are covered by the price cap if you pay for your electricity and gas by either: ✅Standard credit (payment made when you get your electricity and gas bill) ✅Direct Debit ✅Prepayment meter ✅Economy 7 (E7) meter #allyouneedtoknow #energysavings #energypricecap #energybills #VentureResidential

Is anyone feeling the pinch? Sharing the expensive #electricity rates in my State. I invested in a large solar system with a significant investment and saw a payback on the #CAPEX within 5 years. However, since installation 3 years ago, the feed-in rate has reduced drastically from $0.18c to $0.03c. It's frustrating - The energy generator pays me $0.03 during the day, only to sell the same energy back to me at a higher rate when I need it which is $0.29c. This is where fake #inflation begins. It’s called price gouging for profits on existing infrastructure. Apparently the Federal Government has a plan to reduce electricity rates? Someone can explain this policy to me. Another disappointing green initiative for the general public. #electricitycosts #renewableenergy #energysavings #scam #ovoenergy
