Discover the power of floating solar panels! Our Minor Irrigation Department, in collaboration with Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd (KREDL), proposes the idea of having floating solar panels. ⚡ Floating Solar Panels offer numerous advantages! ⚡ We have identified 40 lakes with a span of 10,000 acres. ⚡ There is scope to generate 2500 MW (Megawatt) power. ⚡ They don't require land space and support decarbonization efforts. ⚡ They're more efficient than land-based panels. ⚡ They can generate power and reduce water evaporation. ⚡ These floating solar panels take a step towards a #SustainableFuture and are eco-friendly. ⚡ Floating panels are tried and tested, and many countries, including America, are using this technology. ⚡ In Karnataka, our department proposes to build floating solar panels and generate both power and revenue. ⚡ Learn more about our department's pioneering initiative!" #Floatovoltaics #RenewableEnergy #FloatingSolarPanel #MinorIrrigation #GoodGoverance

On this #ThrowbackThursday, we are proud to present a past project from Purisima, Chile! This hydropower plant is perfectly integrated into an existing irrigation canal and uses water from the Andes to generate clean and sustainable electricity. What makes this project special: - Minimal civil works: as you can see in the picture, only minimal structural changes were required. - Maximum efficiency: Our specially developed #DIVETurbine requires little to no maintenance and is the ideal solution for use in an irrigation channel. - Resilience: The #DIVETurbine is designed for high sediment loads and demonstrates the robustness of our technology and sophisticated design. A great example of how renewable energy can be integrated into existing systems to create a sustainable future. We are proud to be part of this solution! #renewableenergy #hydropower

Led by Simon Meunier and published in @Heliyon, focuses on photovoltaic water pumping systems (PVWPS) utilized for domestic water provision and irrigation in underserved areas. Unlike conventional methods that require diesel generators and considerable manpower, this testing method leverages PVWPS solar panels to conduct regular borehole testing. "No previous studies have offered such a methodology to monitor boreholes over the entire lifespan of PVWPS installations," Meunier explained, emphasizing the sustainability benefits for communities, governments, NGOs, and other stakeholders involved in water and energy initiatives. #SustainableTech #CleanWater #Solar #Water #Pump Read about it and more: https://lnkd.in/e-XsyVb6

💫💫💫A 12 wats solar pump is a high-voltage pumping system powered by solar energy, designed to pump water for various applications, such as irrigation, livestock watering, ✍️✍️✍️and domestic use. Here's an overview of how it works and its components: 🌄🌄🌄### Key Components 1. ⛽⛽⛽**Solar Panels**: These convert sunlight into electrical energy. For a 12kV system, you will need a large array of high-efficiency solar panels. 2. *🌈🌈🌈🌈*Inverter**: Converts the DC electricity generated by the solar panels into AC electricity suitable for the pump. 👍👍👍3. **Controller**: Manages the power flow between the solar panels, battery (if used), and the pump, ensuring efficient operation and protection. 4.🦜🦜🦜💫 **Pump**: The type of pump (surface or submersible) depends on the application. Submersible pumps are typically used for deep wells, while surface pumps are used for shallow wells or surface water sources. 5. **Batteries (optional)**: Store excess energy generated during the day for use when sunlight is insufficient. ### How It Works ✍️✍️1. **Energy Generation**: Solar panels capture sunlight and convert it into electrical energy. 2. ✍️✍️✍️**Power Conversion**: The inverter converts this energyHere is a 180-word viral post with hashtags: "SHINING BRIGHT IN OUR COMMUNITY! Our local solar pump is more than just a sustainable solution - it's a symbol of hope and resilience! By harnessing the power of the sun, we're reducing our carbon footprint and lighting the way for a brighter future. Let's celebrate our community's commitment to renewable energy and the ingenuity that makes it happen! Together, we can create a world that's powered by clean energy, driven by innovation, and inspired by the sun's limitless potential! #SolarPower #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #CommunityFirst #CleanEnergyFuture #InnovationInAction #SunshineStateOfMind"💫💫💫💫
