As an employer, your approach to benefits and transparency can dramatically influence your hiring success. Here’s how you can leverage industry data to enhance your offerings and attract top talent: 🔹 Prioritize Comprehensive Benefits - With 78% of employees reporting that a strong benefits package influences their job choice and loyalty (Source: SHRM), it's crucial to offer more than just the basics. Health, wellness, and continuous learning opportunities aren't just perks; they are investments in your workforce’s potential. 🔹 Set Clear Schedule Expectations - Embrace flexibility. The modern workforce is evolving, with 63% of employees preferring flexible schedules or remote work options (Source: Forbes). By setting clear expectations upfront, you position your company as a forward-thinking workplace that values work-life balance. 🔹 Be Transparent About Pay - Discussing compensation openly can boost your credibility and attract the right candidates. Transparency regarding pay not only fosters trust but aligns expectations, ensuring that candidates are onboarded with confidence and clarity. Implement these strategies to not only meet the market standards but to set new benchmarks in employee satisfaction and retention. #FutureOfWork #EmpireStaffingNetwork #HRLeadership

What's the best way for employers to attract and retain top talent? Here's some clues: 🙅♂️ It's not a cash bonus, nor is it a free lunch. It's not an L&D budget (no surprise given the amount that go unutilised...), and it's not working fewer hours. 👉 It's *just* flexibility over when work is done. Recent insights from Totaljobs, drawn from analysis of >23 million data points, reveal that flexible hours tops the list of the most attractive benefits in the UK for the second consecutive year. Notably, it’s the flexibility of 'when' to work rather than 'where.' But how can you, as an employer, ensure you’re truly offering flexibility? More importantly, how can you showcase your commitment to flexibility to: 1. Minimise costly employee grievances - especially with recent legislative changes 2. Enhance your employer brand - aligning stated values with what top talent truly desires There seems to be a significant gap between what companies promote to attract talent and what these talents genuinely value. 📢 I'm curious... are there any companies out there where utilisation of L&D budgets are high? If so... how? p.s. engagement surveys clearly failing to inform companies correctly here (shock) #EmployerBranding #WorkplaceFlexibility #Leadership #HumanResources #EmployeeSatisfaction #PeopleOps #Retention #HRTech #Futureofwork #Futureofwellbeing #PeopleAnalytics #TotalJobs #Culture #Corporateculture #Benefitdesign #Blinktime Blinktime

What do you think about Human Resources? (HR?) 🤔 To most larger companies, it’s a “necessary evil.” To most small companies, it’s a distant dream to have someone to help with the “human” side of running a business. The truth is all businesses exist to serve people, not the other way around. Anyone who tells you otherwise is sadly mistaken and will eventually pay the price. The chronic inverted value system of businesses and corporate culture leaves a devastating impact on our health and our communities. We can all do better, together. So, when we realize everything in our organization depends on our people, what should we do? Pay them more money? (if only it were that simple) Give them access to more time off? (This can work to a degree) Creating “roles with dignity” is the foundational step. This means documenting your roles and responsibilities, showing your team members a “pathway to ascension,” and other factors that will ensure your people fell supported and can thrive in the container you’ve created. What about you? What’s your experience? Are you working with proactive or reactive executives? This week, we are discussing what it means to invest in workplace wellness in a way that allows you to trace your spending directly toward a return on investment. ✅ I’ll drop more details on Thursday. Meanwhile, if you like this type of content, please like and share it with your team members, so LinkedIN knows to show it in your feed. #BusinessNews #HR #PlantMedicineLeaders

Unpopular opinion: the employee and employer relationship needs some work. Like any relationship, if both parties don’t work at it - it will fail. The reason for this is that both employers and employees are too focused on “what can I can get?” from each other. Employer: 😤 “I need to get my employees to be more productive”… 😤 “I need to get my employees to do better work”… 😤 “I need to get my employees to work more in the office”… Employee: 😠 “I need to get more annual leave”… 😠 “I need to get more pay”… 😠 “I need to get more flexible work”… Any relationship you’ve been in where you were trying to “get” something probably didn’t work out that well. There is an opportunity to reset the relationship between employers and employees to be less about what you get, and more about what you can give. When we work together, as opposed to adversaries in a “what can I get?” situation - we can achieve great things. Organisations that can reset their workplace cultures away from this “what can I get?” mentality will be those that outperform the rest in the modern world of work. What do you think? Is it possible to shift away from a culture that dominates many workplaces of “what can I get?” **** Hi 👋 I’m Sarah Queenan the Founder of Humanify HR Consulting. I like to write about business, Human Resources and leadership in a way that helps Australian leaders and businesses excel in the challenging environments we operate in. #AustralianBusiness #WorkplaceCulture #FutureOfWork #HumanResources
