It's no mystery people, culture and strategic alignment are challenges to adopting AI. It's the same challenge with any change initiative. Change Management strategies help. People will comply willingly or unwillingly. But real change goes deeper than the elusive "buy-in". You've got to enable people to address how they are sabotaging their own success and to start challenging their own assumptions. Mental resilience enables change resilience. It starts with you leading the way, yes? #mentalresilience #mentalfitness #positiveintelligence #authenticleadership #changeleadership

🧠🔄 Bridging the AI Gap: Thoughts from a Change Leader The Prosci webinar on AI adoption really got me thinking. Here are a few takeaways and reflections: 🚧 The AI Adoption Gap: While 91% of employees are eager to use AI, only 13% of organizations have scaled it successfully. The disconnect isn’t the technology, it’s about people, trust, and culture. Calling on all leaders, sponsors, people managers and change coalitions to step up their game! 🤝 Building Trust Matters: Front-line workers often lack trust in AI compared to executives. Change leaders can help bridge this gap by fostering open communication and addressing fears. As with any change initiative, people leaders are called on to do most of the heavy lifting. Let's support them effectively! 🧠 Developing Proficiency: Nearly half of organizations cite user skill gaps as a barrier. Focused training and support can help employees feel confident and capable. These folks can morph into trusted change champions, this one is a no-brainer! 🎯 Encouraging Experimentation: Companies that embrace exploration of AI tools are 3x more successful. Creating a safe space for trial and error is key to overcoming resistance. Encourage trials and errors, create safe spaces and look to fail quickly and move on! These insights reinforce how vital it is to approach AI adoption with empathy and strategy. When we prioritize people and cultivate trust, we open the door for innovation to thrive. The path forward starts with thoughtful leadership and a shared commitment to bridging the gap. 🌟 #changemanagement #AIAdoption #digitaltransformation
