I recently observed a coaching session that truly showcased the transformative power of coaching. The client was grappling with career decisions and uncertainties about the future. The coach skillfully supported the client in exploring her thoughts and emotions, helping her gain clarity and confidence. By listening actively and maintaining presence, the coach facilitated a deep and meaningful conversation. This session demonstrated how effective coaching can be when guided by the ICF Core Competencies. Seeing the client gain new insights and direction was a powerful reminder of the impact coaching can have. This is just one of many examples of coaching in action. Coaching: A Journey of Self-Discovery People often yearn for quick fixes and easy solutions. But when it comes to coaching, the truth is that lasting change requires a deeper dive. Coaching isn't a magic wand; it's a journey of self-discovery. It involves delving into the depths of your psyche. It requires consistent introspection and self-reflection. It demands confronting your fears and limitations. There is no promise of rapid transformations (I don't), but the reality is that true growth takes time and effort. Coaching requires: ✔Consistent effort ✔Unwavering commitment ✔Continuous self-improvement It's important to understand that coaching may not work for everyone: ❌It's challenging. ❌It pushes you to your limits. ❌People give up before seeing results. However, if you persist, coaching can: ✔Help you unlock your full potential. ✔Equip you with the tools to overcome challenges. ✔Lead to a more progressive life. Work with me 1:1 if you are committed to bettering yourself. My coaching program runs for 3 months. Book a call at https://cal.id/jkchan where I can share what it is like to work together. It's hard to put into words just how much a testimonial like Rileagh's means. So I'll take a risk, I've struggled with confidence and self-image most of my life. If I'm honest, it's still something I'm working on. But one of the things that transformed my life was #coaching. Both as a coachee and a coach, I've learned so much. I am a good coach is hard to write, but even harder to write is I'm a great coach. And the thing is, I am a great coach. But I'm also human, and as many of my neurodivergent friends will know (and plenty of my neurotypical friends) it's hard to own that we're good at something, let alone great at it. If you are ready to do the big, scary thing of owning just how great you are - why not drop me a DM? And hey, even if you aren't ready to do *that* big scary thing just yet, but you would like to be, drop me a DM. We all start somewhere, and I already believe in you. #Coaching #Neurodivergence #Goals
Coaching is relational and by that we mean that your experience coaching and success is anchored in the relationship you have with your coach. It's why it's so important to work out the right fit for you. And a great way of doing that is reading what other people have to say about your potential coach. Check out what the amazing Rileagh T Chase had to say about our very own PK Kulasegram! "As a MCC and an instructor of ICF accredited programs of 20 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege to hear many coaches. PK stands out for their profound respect for the client’s expertise in their own life. They create a space where clients feel fully supported while taking ownership of their journey. PK never guides or directs but instead fosters an environment where clients can tap into their own wisdom to find solutions. PK’s ability to ask powerful, reflective questions invites clients to explore new perspectives, always leading to greater self-awareness. PK’s presence in the coaching environment is exceptional, and they truly embody the essence of what coaching is meant to be—supporting clients to discover their own answers." Coaching can significantly boost your personal growth and development by helping you clarify your goals and vision. A coach works with you to identify what you want to achieve, both personally and professionally, providing a clear path to follow. Through insightful questions and feedback, coaching increases your self-awareness, helping you understand your strengths, weaknesses, and values. This heightened self-awareness is crucial for effective decision-making and building confidence. Coaching focuses on developing essential skills like communication, time management, and emotional intelligence. By addressing and overcoming barriers that hold you back, coaching ensures you stay accountable and on track with your goals. It also helps you become more resilient and adaptable to changes and challenges. Improved self-awareness and communication skills foster better relationships, both personally and professionally. In essence, coaching offers the support and structure needed to explore your potential, set meaningful goals, and make consistent progress.

Who am I as a Coach? I believe, we all know what it takes to be a great coach. The coaching principles are something we start inculcating ever since we become a coach. We work everyday to strengthen aur coaching abilities and principles. Some of the principles we constantly strive to strengthen are: 💙Relationship and Trust. 💙Asking Questions and Curiosity. 💙Listening and Intuition. 💙Feedback and Awareness. 💙Suggestions and Simplification. 💙Goals and Action Plans. 💙Accountability and Accomplishments. Yes all of the above are wonderful to have but is this all? Through my journey as a coach, I have evolved over the years. There was a time, I was trying hard to master all of the above principles and I have been able to do it to a great extent. All said and done, I still felt something was missing. I feel blessed to have got this realisation that as a coach, connecting with the soul of a person and being a loving presence is more important than any other principle.🧡💛 I have seen magic unfolding in my clients when they sense a deep connection, when they know I am totally present for them, when they know they are not being judged for their thoughts or actions.🧡💛 One of the best lessons, I learnt as a coach that has helped me evolve in all areas of my life is to develop a deep connect with the person I am coaching. Coaching is much beyond the theory we learn and the principles we adopt. 🧡💛 Coaching is a deep, loving and soulful connection with a person.Period.🧡💛 P.S. I am Sujana Prakash Rao and as a coach I have been helping individuals with my 6 weeks "Self-Mastery Programme". DM me if interested and I would love to get into a clarity call with you. #lifecoaching #personaldevelopment #growthmindset #overcomingchallenges #blissfullife
