“You’ll be left behind if you’re even 3 months out of the game.” 🚨 At a networking event last week, I had an eye-opening conversation with a seasoned professional who founded a successful marketing agency. We both agreed; search is evolving rapidly: 1️⃣ AI-driven Search 🤖: With tools like Google Bard and Bing Chat, user interactions are shifting. Understanding user intent is more crucial than ever. Personally, I now use Chat for quick research, and even when I turn to Google, the AI summary usually gives me what I need. That said, when I'm looking for a specific organisation or product, the experience hasn’t changed that much. 2️⃣ Core Web Vitals 📱: Page experience is still king. Fast load times and mobile-friendliness can make or break your rankings. As more people use their phones instead of computers, Google’s emphasis on technical SEO allows smaller companies to improve rankings, even when larger ones seem to dominate. 3️⃣ Zero-Click Searches 🔍: Featured snippets and SERP features often give users direct answers, meaning fewer clicks on organic listings or ads. When was the last time you actually clicked on an organic link, let alone an ad? Staying ahead in SEO means constantly evolving your strategy. If you’re not adapting, you’re falling behind. Time to keep up! ⚡ #SEO #DigitalMarketing #AI #Sussex

🔥 Google has recently enforced new search spam policy updates, leading to a significant increase in manual actions against websites. Many websites with AI-produced content are being affected by this update to Google's algorithm. There is a lot of chatter within the online SEO community where sites that went all in on AI-produced content are almost down to zero organic search traffic overnight. At Curamando and all companies within ARC, we keep exploring how to utilize AI best to speed up workflows and support the staff, but everything needs to be aligned with Google's best practices and recommendations. It is their playground, so we have to follow their rules. 😟 If you worry about what could happen to you, reach out and get yourself acquainted with someone from our SEO team. We will continue to follow the chatter and client progress and keep testing what works and what does not - when it comes to AI and digital marketing. #seo #digitalmarketing Dall-E prompt: Worried client about their SEO strategy in the style of 1950s jazz posters.
