When it comes to sales, I always say one thing: ‘If you try too hard, you wont get too far. And in the end it wouldn't even matter!’ Okay jokes aside. When people feel they are being forced to buy something, they wont buy it. When you try to shamelessly sell in every single email or post, you automatically push away your ideal customers. This is because most people don’t like to be forced to do something. So, even if they have a genuine need for the product, they won't buy. This is even truer for crypto businesses, because of the lack of authenticity and trust in this space. And probably because your clients have been burnt in the past. Your job as a crypto business is to create a connection with your ideal customers. 🔷 Educate them on the problems they are facing, and its potential solutions. 🔷 Show that you genuinely want to help them. 🔷 Help them go from point A to point B. If you keep shoving your product down people's throat, they will resist even if it provided them value. All people want is for you to genuinely care about them. Once you do that, the rest falls in place. Talk to them like a friend, not a sales guy!

Passion In Sales! Based on my experience in fintech sales and account management, especially in high-risk sectors like Forex, gaming, and cryptocurrency, CBD, travels, adults, the concept of passion in sales is directly applicable. My track record of closing 13 accounts in one month and helping startups grow highlights my ability to drive results, which is often fueled by passion for the products and services I’m selling. Here’s how passion, in the context of my background, would play out: Building Authentic Relationships: In my field, where trust and credibility are paramount, especially in high-risk sectors, my passion for the solutions I offer helps me form deeper, more genuine connections with clients. Being genuinely enthusiastic about the products I represent helps potential customers feel confident in my expertise and the value I bring to the table. Navigating Complex Sales Processes: The fintech industry often involves a lengthy decision-making process with many touchpoints. Passion helps me stay motivated and persistent, as I’m likely to face challenges that require overcoming skepticism and regulatory barriers. My passion for the sector drives me to push through these obstacles and stay focused on closing the deal. Consultative Selling: Passion is essential in my role, as it aligns with consultative selling. By being passionate about understanding the unique needs of my clients and how my fintech solutions can address those needs, I’m better positioned to offer personalized solutions. This is crucial, especially when dealing with startups or high-risk businesses, where every decision can significantly impact their growth trajectory. Resilience and Adaptability: My ability to close 13 accounts in a month is a testament to my persistence. Passion keeps me resilient in the face of rejection or setbacks, which is common in high-risk sales environments. It ensures that I don’t lose steam and that I continuously strive for growth. Driving Continuous Improvement: With my background in sales and a solid foundation in business development, passion fuels my desire for constant improvement. In an ever-evolving fintech landscape, staying passionate about learning new technologies, regulatory updates, or sales strategies gives me the edge in an industry that demands adaptability and innovation. In summary, my extensive experience in fintech sales, combined with passion, allows me to engage clients authentically, persist through challenges, and keep driving success, whether I’m helping startups scale or navigating complex, high-risk environments. Passion is a key factor that enables me to thrive in the competitive and rapidly changing fintech sector. #opentowork #hiring #fintech #highrisk #sales #fintechfounders #ceos

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡-𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 Gone are the days when sales were solely about relationship-building and persuasion. In Fintech, today’s sales professionals need a deep understanding of the technology behind the products they sell. Here’s why being tech-savvy is your secret weapon for winning in Fintech sales: ➡️ Understanding Complex Solutions Fintech products often involve sophisticated technology like blockchain, APIs, and AI-driven tools. Being able to explain how these solutions work—and how they benefit the customer—sets you apart from sales professionals who only focus on surface-level selling. ➡️ Building Trust with Clients Clients in the Fintech space are tech-savvy themselves. If you can speak their language, discuss technical features, and provide detailed explanations, you’ll build trust more quickly. A well-informed salesperson instils confidence that they fully understand the product they’re selling. ➡️ Seamlessly Demonstrating Product Value The ability to demo products effectively is crucial in Fintech sales. Whether it’s showing how an API integrates with existing systems or explaining the security features of a blockchain-based platform, your technical knowledge allows you to highlight the real-world value of your product, making it easier for clients to see the impact. ➡️ Customizing Solutions for Clients In Fintech, one-size-fits-all doesn’t work. You need to be able to tailor solutions based on your client’s specific infrastructure and challenges. Tech-savviness enables you to suggest customized, practical solutions that address their unique needs, leading to more successful, long-term deals. ➡️ Staying Ahead of Industry Trends Fintech is evolving rapidly, and staying on top of the latest trends—whether it's advancements in blockchain, AI, or regulatory tech—allows you to position yourself as an informed, strategic advisor. Clients are looking for sales professionals who understand where the industry is headed, and those insights can give you a competitive edge. In the world of Fintech, sales success goes beyond traditional methods. Your ability to understand, explain, and leverage technology will determine whether you close small deals—or game-changing ones. At Guaranteed Connections, we specialize in helping companies find sales talent who bring both the technical knowledge and sales expertise needed to thrive in the Fintech space. Let’s connect and discuss how mastering tech-savviness can elevate your sales career in Fintech. #FintechSales #TechSavvy

TL;DR: Relay is on the lookout for Sales talent (AE, BDR and BDR Manager). Learn more below. Bernardo La Padula Tellini, Nichole Porter, Roxy Doan A few weeks ago, I shared about my new job at Relay Financial, where I will be tackling both Sales Enablement and Sales Leadership. What I didn't share was what went into my decision. Choosing where to work can be a difficult decision. There are so many unknowns. Will the role align with your growth & impact goals? Could the company's product become a leader in its industry? Does the culture match your values? A few years back, my guru 🤓 and former boss, Kyle Norton, introduced me to his "Three P's Framework" for making such decisions and it still sticks to this day. People: Does the company employ very smart people? As the saying goes— Surround yourself around people smarter than you because aligning yourself with people you can learn from compounds career growth. Relay checked the box! Product: Do they have a market leading product? Having family in small business, I knew the importance of managing liquidity and cash flow effectively. Truth is, traditional banking isn't built for "tightrope" businesses that are balancing costs like payroll, inventory, marketing, etc. Knowing this to be true, connected the dots for me. Relay is offering the clarity that SMBs desperately need to drive profitability. Problems: What kinds of problems need to be solved? Challenges have always been the path way to innovation. Being part of a culture that embraces obstacles WILL have that same affect on you. At Relay, we run towards problems and inject innovation in an industry starving for it. Check, check and check. Do the Three P's resonate for you? How do you make decisions about your career choices? Have I sold you on Relay yet? 👉 Apply at the link below and reach out to Roxy Doan and I! Relay is a hybrid working environment and we require our team to be in office two times a week.
