Honored to share the stage with Marc Cohen and Niall Robinson at OpenSync Summit discussing how OpenSync transcends cultural and linguistic divides to bring communities together.
I enjoyed the opportunity to share the stage with two of my favorite people today in Taiwan for the OpenSync Summit. A truly meaningful discussion on the power of combining OpenSync and Android. #Evolutiondigital#OpenSync#Plume
Thank you Marc Cohen and Emily O'Donnell for providing the #opensyncsummit audience with your insights and experience on all things Android and OpenSync related
Update: the blobs are here!
You can check on L2Beat which L2s support blobs by looking at the "DA Layer" column, zkSync and Startnet are already live!
Users are reporting significantly lower fees on those chains already. I've seen posts showing 6-7 USD per fee a couple days ago versus 0.04 USD now.
A wave of new activity is coming.

🌐 Exploring the Power of WebSockets in Real-Time Communication 💬
Recently, I had the opportunity to dive deep into WebSocket technology, a fascinating protocol that enables real-time, full-duplex communication between clients and servers. Unlike traditional HTTP, where the server must wait for a client request to send data, WebSockets establish a persistent connection, allowing data to flow in both directions without the need to constantly re-establish communication. This makes it perfect for applications that require live updates, such as chat systems, stock market apps, and online gaming.
For my latest project, I implemented a real-time chat system using WebSocket on both the server and client sides. Users can now send and receive messages instantly without any delay, creating a seamless user experience. What I found particularly interesting was the ability to scale this for multi-user chats by using the Socket.IO library, which simplifies WebSocket management across different environments.
By integrating WebSocket with REST APIs, I could combine the power of real-time updates with traditional data fetching, which opens up endless possibilities for enhancing user interaction. The performance gains and responsiveness are game changers, and I’m excited to apply WebSocket to even more projects in the future!
