Making the world a better place one step at a time | Professor | Director | Trustee | NED | Technology | Innovation | R&D | Renewable Energy

Humbled to have been recognised in Spencer Ogden's 100 Brilliant Women in Renewable Energy. Presently the workforce in the energy sector is made up of 22% females with 32% in renewable energy. It is great the renewable sector is pushing ahead but we have so much further to go. I won't go into the number of women in engineering within renewable energy... but with every cloud there is a silver lining and an opportunity 😁. Whoever it was that nominated me, a massive thank you ❤️💖! Check out the other amazing 99 ladies here: https://lnkd.in/eWESNUcS bp, Loughborough University, Women's Engineering Society, Energy Institute, WeAreTechWomen, Great British Talent, University of Nottingham, University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, POWERful Women, SPE Women in Energy, Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) #WomenInRenewableEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition #MakingAPositiveImpact

Emily, I'm overjoyed to see you recognised! I couldn't think of anyone more deserving of this honour. You've been such a guiding light in my career journey, always generous with your knowledge and encouragement. Your recognition today celebrates not just your brilliant contributions to renewables, but also the countless lives you've touched along the way - mine included! Thank you for being such an inspiring mentor and championing others whilst blazing your own trail. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement! 🌟
