getWITit - Pittsburgh - we are an organization that supports women and the underrepresented genders in IT. The numbers are staggering...we are working on getting them interested in IT and to STAY in IT by helping them build relationships with each other. We offer events throughout the year, and host an annual in-person conference focused on them!

1dI’m heavily biased and wouldn’t be a good sales person if I didn’t pitch the non-profit my wife started in 2020 - Paramount ARC (https://www.facebook.com/share/19apJqvrmj/?mibextid=wwXIfr). We run an Adaptive Horseback Riding center in Northeast Florida. The fully inclusive program works with both typical and special needs students on horseback riding and horsemanship skills. We’ve also worked with Gratitude America, an organization that hosts weekend retreats for veterans with ptsd and for Gold Star Families. We are completely volunteer run and have a great group of people that help out on the farm daily. Every penny we bring in from lessons or donations goes right back into the program. Krista, my wife, is the Founder, Executive Director and Head Instructor…she’s also in charge of scheduling lessons and caring for the 14 horses we have right now.
