Another long drive to Birmingham, another podcast to recommend. This time it's a wicked problems one with ⚡️Jordan Brompton of myenergi. It's not all about the zombie apocalypse, but it features a lot more of that than in your standard net zero chat, and is a really engaging listen. A couple of years ago, I was asked for projections of EV numbers for charge point needs then, via a series of "can you just"s, found myself analysing energy capacity vs peak use and wondering what was going to happen with the grid to charge those EVs and why no one was doing anything about it. Jordan is one of the people doing something about it. They also discuss the self sufficient supply, linking EVs to the grid, and what amazing opportunities could happen when you have all that lovely mobile energy storage driving around that are able to put energy back into your home as needed.
