Waste-to-energy (WtE) is an ingenious process that converts waste tire into usable energy.Through innovative processes,we can reduce landfill waste and promote sustainable energy solutions, let's turn trash into treasure! What should we do with more and more garbage? Conversion of plastic and tire waste into energy carriers, such as heating oil, diesel, grill coke, synthesis gas, etc. feeding electricity energy into an electrical grid Wind turbine blades can be reused in a non-thermal microwave plasma field where the electron temperature is much higher than the generated gas temperature, including the vibrational and rotational temperature of the molecules. In the plasma space, all complex compounds such as resins, aromatic molecules and tars are effectively degraded and separated from the inorganic glass fiber reinforcement. Waste-to-Energy plant is a great alternative to reduce the area for waste treatment and disposal, in addition to generating energy for all small cities in the region. A good alternative is to create an intermunicipal cooperative between small cities to share costs It is a social advantage if small villages we are supplied with locally produced energy, thus creating local jobs for the local energy using population from waste collected locally, where the government should finance projects, if they do not want their country to be covered in waste. Our environmental protection innovation is the application of microwave technology. During the conversion of waste to syngas in the non-thermal microwave plasma field, the temperature of the electrons is much higher than the temperature of the generated gas, including the vibrational and rotational temperature of the molecules. In the plasma space, all complex compounds such as resins, aromatic molecules and tars are effectively degraded and separated from the inorganic part. Plasmas contain reactive substances, especially ions, radicals or other oxidizing compounds, which can break down polluting molecules, organic particles, e.g. tar and soot. It is excellent for the removal of heavily polluted air pollutants such as volatile organic compounds (VOC) and their fluorine-containing derivatives (FOC), the synthesis of special gases and the production of nanoparticles. 18 Mar 2024 was Global Recycling Day. As we reflect on the importance of recycling, we also recognise the criticality of our actions. Yes, recycling is necessary in our society in ensuring that less waste goes to the incinerators or dumps. However, in the 10R principles by Cramer, Refuse, Reduce and Resign are higher up in the hierarchy of circularity. These principles have to be observed and upheld by masses like us before the practice of recycling becomes a useful tool for a more sustainable economy. Mr BlooBin (Singapore's recycling bin) below would be happier if we have done our best to in reducing his load. We also have to ensure that we do not cross-contaminate our recyclables too. Let's get it right with recycling and not use it as a crutch to lessen our guilt on our endless pursuit of unnecessary consumption. Remember, before buying something, think whether it is necessary, first. Happy Global Recycling Day!
