The term ‘Learning Organisation’ has become widespread within businesses, especially as so many of us embark on a digitisation journey. The concept that individuals will learn from past mistakes, embrace automation, strive for continual improvement and welcome change to improve business performance seems intuitive. Learning organisations tend to focus on individual learning, not the team or organisation as a whole. This is unsuitable for project management despite the clear need for projects to have a learning element. So what if, instead of focusing on a learning organisation, we focused on the learning project? This approach promotes project evolution, adapting to the team's learning during execution. It shifts the focus from individual learning to team learning, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration in project management. A learning project must leverage the lessons learned from past projects to reach its full potential. However, this can be challenging as team members come and go, taking their experiences with them. We developed Psonar, an AI tool that sifts through all your project data to address this. It uncovers the hidden gems – the valuable lessons learned in the past, ensuring that your team's knowledge is preserved and shared. https://lnkd.in/g_neM2qW To find out more about this feature of Psoda, or to see any of our features in action, why not book a free, personalised one-hour demo with our CEO Bruce Aylward https://lnkd.in/gr3Z3SW) or reach out to our team at [email protected] #LearningOrganisation #LearningProject #LearnFromThePast #AITools #Psoda

📚 ✍ Knowledge Management Market surpassed £20B in 2023. Here are four reasons why Knowledge Management is shaking up the corporate learning market 🚨 ⬇️ Companies today are trying to find ways to reduce learning barriers and increase information discoverability. A Knowledge Management System (KMS) provides instant access to essential knowledge but also fosters continuous learning, keeping teams agile, informed, and equipped for success. Here are four key areas where a KMS is providing value to L&D teams: 1. Centralised Knowledge Repository: A single, accessible hub for documents, FAQs, best practices, and crucial information. 2. Real-Time Search: With fast search, employees can find what they need in seconds, exactly when they need it. 3. AI-Driven Recommendations: These smart suggestions are based on previous searches and activities, making it easy to find the correct information. 4. Constant Updates: Thanks to contributions from across the organisation, the system is always fresh, relevant, and up-to-date. How are you approaching the knowledge management topic? This Thursday, I will share my article, diving deep into this topic to offer tactical advice for L&D teams. #ai #artificialintelligence #kms #knowledge #lms #lxp #knowledgemanagement #hr

The launch of LLama 3 changed everything in the AI space. We now have a three trillion-dollar company with a long-term commitment to a model for their next generation of products. - Microsoft with Open AI and its copilot strategy - Google with Gemini - And now Facebook with LLama. I told Mark he was very good at this podcast format, speaking about the product and long-term vision. It is good to remember that he is the last founder running a trillion-dollar company. With Apple eying Gemini on the iPhone and Amazon's financial commitment to Anthropic, there is little room for players like Mistral or Databricks to develop a viable business model. If they are not considering a sale, their best bet is to continue to be deployed as managed AI services in most cloud platforms, hoping they can differentiate themselves enough from the cloud's prime models. The end-user play (the Rockstar path) requires more money and computing power. Le Chat was quite disappointing and shows that Mistral AI primarily focuses on building state-of-the-art models rather than end-user products. But there is something else : Is the industry finally ready to move from state-of-the-art to good enough? With specialized fine-tuning, current models are good enough for most things. The main issue for me for productivity is the interface. The copilot everything model shows its limits. Chat is not always the best interface for everything in our lives. After all, we use computers so we don't have to talk and get things done. The idea of permanent chatting is not a productivity booster, in my opinion. Since Romain Huet got me to upgrade to gpt4, I have found myself chatting a lot to configure GPT4 to my needs, where with a combination of buttons and interface tweaks, I would have had faster results. Everyone is excited about agentic software; I am because we can imagine an app model based on additional knowledge and expertise. The idea that you have a generic chat that tries to solve everything is probably ending. However, the idea that you can buy or add additional responsive and energy-optimized capabilities for a specific task is seductive. Remember the Matrix? We are at the beginning of the product AI journey, especially if we move from state-of-the-art (where one expensive model does everything) to good enough (where product personalization and agentic provide a similar level of reasoning) What do you think?
