Over the years in my role as a healthcare marketing expert, I've seen how social media profoundly influences healthcare. Here are some key insights what I noticed: Patient Empowerment: Social media has revolutionized access to health information, empowering patients to make informed decisions and engage actively in their health care. Fighting Misinformation: As professionals, we must combat health misinformation by sharing accurate, evidence-based content. This not only educates but also helps maintain public health integrity. Improving Communication: Social media bridges the gap between healthcare providers and patients, facilitating real-time communication, updates, and support, making healthcare more accessible. Marketing and Branding: It's an invaluable tool for marketing healthcare services and building a trustworthy brand. Through social media, we can reach broader audiences and highlight the positive impacts of our services. Social media is more than a platform; it's a catalyst for better health outcomes and stronger patient-provider relationships. #HealthcareMarketing #PatientCare #DigitalHealth #HealthcareInnovation, #PatientEmpowerment, #HealthLiteracy, #MedEd, #PublicHealth, #SocialMediaInHealthcare, #FightMisinformation, #HealthcareCommunication

Personalization might be less valuable than you think when selling to hospitals and health systems—and there's a better way. I don't think we'll ever see an end to the value of personalization strings, but at this point, people know what they are and how they work (and might even find them a little creepy). The alternative? Relevance. The problem with Relevance is that it's hard. It takes more effort than collecting names, titles, or organizational info. It takes listening, understanding, and translating the value of what you offer into the "problem language" that hospital & health system leaders speak. But in an age where trust is the heart of marketing? It's worth it. https://buff.ly/3T1Sgzg #HospitalContentMarketing #HIMSS24 #ContentMarketing
