True innovation starts with listening, not just to the words spoken, but to the underlying needs and challenges. It's about understanding the perspectives of all stakeholders and using that understanding to drive change. Yesterday, at our annual Siemens Healthineers Executive Summit, my colleagues and I met with 160 thought leaders and healthcare decision-makers from more than 40 countries, to listen and learn. The central question that brought us together was: how can healthcare providers perform effectively today while transforming for tomorrow? Some of my key takeaways were: 1. Patient-centered care must be strengthened to meet individual needs. Comprehensive cancer centers are among new models that can improve accessible and affordable patient care. This is underpinned by prioritizing disease prevention. 2. Building durable and mutually beneficial partnerships can create growth and impact beyond what each organization can achieve individually. 3. Bridging the workforce gap requires a multifaceted approach including recruiting, engaging, and retaining talent while leveraging digitalization to streamline processes to enhance productivity. While we have made significant strides, we have to acknowledge that achieving #HealthforAll is a complex and ongoing journey. However, by continuing to work together and aligning our efforts with our shared vision, we can make a meaningful difference for patients, providers, and our planet. Thank you to our guests who joined us in Munich and to the team who worked so hard to make this important meeting possible – and one that we can be very proud of 😊 #SHexecsummit24 #HealthforAll #TeamHealthineers
