😶 3 mistakes that prevent me and perhaps prevent you from exploiting the full potential of your creativity: 1) Think that creativity comes by itself - because we easily find ourselves faced with blank page syndrome 2) Living in a CONSTANT creative mess 3) Ruminating at your desk locked between four walls, alone ❌️ That's why, art won't be likely to come to the rescue in time of need 🤓 That's why 1 year ago I followed the 12 weeks of Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way" program which allows you to: 1) Understand that creativity is a pond full of fish. It's important not to overfishing it. 2) Creativity can be developed systematically. This is how I discovered the principle of the Artist's Date which allows you to cultivate your creativity every week A meeting with the artist which can also be integrated into challenges like #JeRamenTaFraise which allows us to think differently It can also be a motive picked up on the go, like a blooming flower, made into variations to fill a page. 3) A 10 minute walk will often bring more inspiration than hours of rumination. The brain is nourished by the movement of the body and by moving it also provides us with unexpected ideas... Going for a walk and talk with a friend or with your pet can add more benefits to your time outside. Like the idea for this post that came to me while walking in nature while waiting for my doctor. ✅️ Waiting for the results of my irm this morning, I treated myself to an Artist Date, painting flowers and writing about the day so far. You want to know more ? Don't hesitate to delve into the book "The Artist's Way" or/and come and discuss it in the comments. - The french version of this post was published last week for #JeRamenMaFraise created by RamenTaFraise and Nina Ramen 🍓 Ramen 🍓
