This is my email signature. I realised last year that on average I send 29 emails a day. Each time, I spend 3 seconds typing "Thanks, Nat"! So this year I built "Thanks, Nat" into my signature. This small change will save me over 7 minutes each week... and over 6 hours every year!!! I'm realising how valuable my time is, so being more efficient in 2024 is a key goal. 🌐 In these fast-paced times, we often want just the bottom line. But when it comes to Israel's position in the AI race, the answer isn't so simple. Understanding how Israel is doing regarding such a transformative technology like AI cannot be captured by a single number or ranking. It has many aspects, many of which are reviewed in the report we at RISE Israel (formerly SNPI)-Israel, in collaboration with Google, published today. The report highlights the growth of the AI sector in Israel, along with significant warning signs for the future, and analyzes public attitudes towards AI in a global comparison. As a tech-oriented think-tank, our main focus is on how emerging technologies, with AI as the leading example, affect, or will affect, the Israeli economy and society.
