THANKSGIVING is all about two things: being thankful and giving (being generous, sharing with others). In the spirit of this special day, I have created a free new downloadable to share with you. I’ve created this based off one of my most popular articles, and the one which I am most proud of: “Aligning Your Head, Heart & Gut – Unleash Your Inner Wisdom, Confidence and Joy!” This article (turned suedo-guide) includes 6 signs that your head & heart are not aligned, 6 great reasons to get them aligned, and several recommended methods and resources for how to tap into all your inner wisdom to confidently make good decisions which are aligned with your true desires and best interests.. It’s intended to help stop the people-pleasing or putting others before yourself, focus more on what YOU really want / need, and facilitate better decision making without second guessing yourself. Put your hand up🙌, or shoot me a DM if you would like to get a copy for yourself! And last but not least, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all my American family and friends, and as I am originally from the USA, this holiday will always hold a special place in my heart. #thanksgiving2024 #thankful #giving #confidence

🍂 Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🍂 Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the power of gratitude—to appreciate what we have, instead of dwelling on what we don't. Rather than comparing ourselves to others, let’s focus on competing with our past selves—striving to improve by just 1% every day in ways that matter most to us. It’s those small, consistent steps that lead to lasting growth. As we enjoy this special day, let's also remember those who are less fortunate. If you can, take a moment to extend a helping hand—it’s often through giving that we truly unlock the deepest sense of gratitude and happiness. Finally, let's be thankful for the family, friends, teachers, colleagues, and communities who have shaped our lives. Reach out to them today—spread love, kindness, and let go of any past negativity. Forgive, forget, and embrace the spirit of connection. Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with joy, love, and appreciation! 🍁🙏 #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #Kindness #Family #Community #PersonalGrowth

🍁 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐬𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤: 𝐀 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞, 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 🍁 As the season of Thanksgiving envelops us, it brings with it an invitation—a gentle reminder to pause amidst the busyness of life, to reflect on the blessings that have shaped our journey, and to connect with the people and moments that truly matter. Gratitude is not just a fleeting emotion; it’s a way of seeing the world. It’s the lens through which even the smallest joys shine brighter and challenges transform into lessons. When we take a moment to say "thank you," we acknowledge the hands that have supported us, the voices that have encouraged us, and the hearts that have walked alongside us. In this week of Thanksgiving, I find myself reflecting on the power of community. Every interaction, every conversation, and every shared experience has contributed to the person I am today. To my family, friends, colleagues, mentors, and even those who were just passing chapters in my story—thank you. Your presence, whether fleeting or enduring, has left an indelible mark. But let us also remember to thank ourselves. For the courage to keep going when the road felt endless. For the strength to rise after every fall. For the ability to hold on to hope even when the skies seemed gray. Gratitude begins within, in honouring our own resilience and spirit. As we gather around tables filled with love, laughter, and food this week, let us take a moment to think of those who may not have the same comforts. Thanksgiving is not just about feasting; it’s about sharing. A kind word, a helping hand, or even a silent prayer can make a world of difference to someone in need. Let us carry the spirit of Thanksgiving beyond this week. May gratitude become our daily practice, lighting up our days and the lives of those around us. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫? The cost of being "right": a Thanksgiving ponderance There was someone I was close to once— We had an argument. I barely remember how it started. What I do remember is feeling like I had to win. So I said something cutting. They said something back. And instead of backing down, I doubled down. Because I was right, wasn’t I? THE AFTERMATH That conversation ended, but the damage didn’t. We stopped talking. Holidays became awkward, then nonexistent. Eventually, we drifted into silence. I thought I could let it go. I told myself I was better off without them. But every Thanksgiving, their absence hits me. Sound familiar? THE REALIZATION Recently, my mentor, Eric Lofholm, reminded me of something that really resonated…seems basic, but escapes many of us, I’m sure…and I’m paraphrasing: "You don’t always have to be right. You just have to be willing to understand." And suddenly, it wasn’t about who was right anymore. It was about what I lost because I refused to listen. A HARD TRUTH And, here’s the thing: Some relationships don’t need to be lost. But pride can be louder than love if you let it. Being right doesn’t bring people back. THE HOPE The good news? It’s not too late. I’ve started reaching out to some I’ve lost. Not every bridge has been or can be rebuilt. But a few have. And every one is worth the effort. This year has been a year of loss of dear friends and family...life goes on for us as it will. Treasure the relationships you have, and fix the ones you've lost. A THANKSGIVING CHALLENGE This Thanksgiving, I’m asking myself: What’s more important—being right or being connected? And I’m taking the first step to repair relationships that matter. What about you? Is there someone you can reach out to today? I wish you all a very Happy [reflective] Thanksgiving Holiday! #Thanksgiving #RelationshipsMatter #TheCostOfPride #Gratitude

A Thanksgiving Reflection: Gratitude in the Heart of Change Thanksgiving is more than a meal shared; it is a moment of unity, reflection, and gratitude. This holiday invites us to pause, amidst the rush of our daily lives, and appreciate the richness of our connections, achievements, and even challenges. The Power of Connection This Thanksgiving, as families and friends gather, we are reminded of the unique strength found in community. The past few years have shown us how vital our relationships are, even when circumstances force us apart. Sharing a table, whether in person or virtually, is a symbol of resilience and love—a celebration of the ties that bind us. Gratitude in the Small Moments While grand accomplishments and milestones deserve acknowledgment, let us not overlook the quiet moments that shape our lives. A smile from a stranger, a word of encouragement from a colleague, or the comforting routines of home—all are threads in the tapestry of our lives. Embracing Growth Through Challenges Challenges often come unbidden, testing our resolve and strength. Yet, they offer invaluable lessons. As we reflect on the obstacles we’ve faced, we find opportunities to give thanks for the growth they’ve inspired and the compassion they’ve nurtured. Looking Forward with Hope Thanksgiving also serves as a bridge to the future, reminding us to approach each day with hope and kindness. The spirit of giving thanks is not confined to one day; it is a mindset, a commitment to recognizing the beauty in life’s everyday moments. A Call to Action Let this season inspire us to extend gratitude outward. Reach out to someone who may need a kind word. Volunteer time to help those in need. A single act of gratitude has the power to transform not only the receiver but the giver as well. As we gather this Thanksgiving, let’s cherish the warmth of our shared humanity. May our hearts remain open to gratitude, not just for one day but as a guiding light throughout the year. Happy Thanksgiving to all! #Thanksgiving2024 #Gratitude #Thankfulness #FamilyAndFriends #Community #ThanksgivingReflection #CelebrateTogether #ActsOfKindness #HopeAndGratitude #HolidaySeason

Thanksgiving: A Daily Practice of Gratitude Thanksgiving, it’s a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the profound importance of gratitude in our lives. Thanksgiving is more than just a day on the calendar—it's an attitude we can choose to embrace every day. To begin, let's take a moment to remember Sarah Hale, a prominent 19th-century writer and editor who played a crucial role in establishing Thanksgiving as a national holiday. Her persistent advocacy over 17 years through letters to politicians, including Presidents, culminated in Abraham Lincoln's 1863 declaration of Thanksgiving as a national holiday. Hale's efforts were fueled by a belief that gratitude and reflection could unite the nation. Her dedication is a reminder of how powerful and unifying the practice of thankfulness can be. Every day offers us the chance to be thankful—thankful for our health, for the love in our lives, and for the opportunities that come our way. Let's not reserve gratitude solely for Thanksgiving but make it a daily practice that enriches our lives and those of the people around us. In closing, I invite you all to reflect on how you can incorporate gratitude into your daily routine. How can you express thankfulness for the simple joys and the significant influences in your life? As we gather around the table this Thanksgiving, and every day, let gratitude be the true feast. Happy Thanksgiving. #thanksgiving #gratitude

🌟 Happy Thanksgiving! 🌟 Today, as we gather with family and friends to give thanks, let’s take a moment to reflect on the deeper meaning behind this day. Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate abundance and a powerful reminder of the importance of love, harmony, and unity. In a world that often feels divided, we must remember that true innovation is born from compassion, understanding, and human connection. Whether in the workplace or our personal lives, the most impactful ideas and breakthroughs emerge when we work together, support each other, and embrace diverse perspectives. Innovation thrives in environments of trust, respect, and kindness. We create spaces where creativity and collaboration flourish when we foster compassion, friendship, and shared values. It’s through these bonds that we build not just successful businesses, but stronger communities and a better world for all. As we give thanks today, let’s also commit to nurturing unity and brotherhood every day. Let’s remember that progress is not just about the technologies we create, but the relationships we build and the love we share. Wishing you all a peaceful and joyous Thanksgiving! Let’s continue to spread kindness, lift each other up, and work together for a brighter, more compassionate future. 🙏💖🌍 #Thanksgiving #Gratitude #LoveAndUnity #CompassionInAction #Innovation #HumanValues #Brotherhood #Community

Thanksgiving is here, and like many of you, I’m feeling a whole host of feelings about what it means. I’m reflecting on all of the recent events and how 2025 stands to be another tumultuous year. The history of Thanksgiving is undeniably complicated, but the act of “thanksgiving” is profound, and this holiday is the only institutionalized American holiday dedicated to unconditional, undirected gratitude. As a practice of gratitude, today, I want to say that I’m grateful to all of the readers who have taken the time to share their reflections, thoughts, and gratitude for Breaking Bias! Here’s what one reader had to say: "Anu, I have been thinking about your book in the past weeks and especially this morning. It inspired and informed me in countless ways. What really stood out to me as a trauma-informed therapist were the practices of recognizing the places of superiority and victimization in ourselves, and bringing somatic recognition and healing work to those spaces. And I am recognizing that your call to move away from victimization is not to negate the real hurt and trauma of bias, but to feel in order to heal…Your work is so important." Please help me spread the word about my book, too! Breaking Bias is a perfect gift for friends and family this holiday season. Happy Thanksgiving—and know that I am so grateful for you. :) Get your copy of Breaking Bias: https://anuguptany.com/ #BreakingBias #Thanksgiving #justice #wellness #meditation #diversityandinclusion #mindfulness #holidays #gratitude

🙏 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 has always been one of my favorite holidays. I love its simplicity and the way it invites us to slow down and reflect. It’s a bit of a hidden gem — often overlooked as we jump from the excitement of Halloween straight into the sparkle of Christmas. ✨💖 🎉 It is about so much more than a big meal. It’s about gratitude. It started with new pilgrims in America giving thanks for a successful corn harvest and inviting Native Americans to share in the bounty. While history has its complexities, the idea of coming together to appreciate what we have is timeless. ⏱️ 🤲 For me, it’s a moment to pause and reflect on all the blessings that have made their way into my life this year. Sure, I’m grateful for the material things — a safe home, a car that gets me where I need to go, and meaningful work. But the real blessings are the ones that can’t be measured: 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵. 👪 👉 As we gather around the table this 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴, I hope you’ll join me in taking a moment to think about the blessings in your life — the big ones and the small ones. Gratitude doesn’t have to be perfect or profound. It just needs to be real. 🥳 💖 Wishing you a Thanksgiving filled with love, connection, and a heart full of gratitude. 🦃❤️ 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘁: Turn Overwhelm into Focus and Take Charge of Your Goals! https://lnkd.in/g5aSGEFY #thanksgiving #gratitude #givethanks #thankfulheart #gratitudeeveryday #reflectandgivethanks #holidaygratitude #celebrateblessings #thanksgivingvibes #conniecotter #focusonwhatmattersmost #pathtosucceed #takingaction #highperformancecoaching #TBT
