Growing census in a profitable fashion is a challenge for many #addictiontreatment and #mentalhealth centers. After 2 years and working with 45+ facilities, ranging from 6 to 400 beds, we've detected certain patterns in our data that are worth noting. Most facilities pour hundreds of thousands into Google Ads every year and use it as their primary driver of the census. And while it often works and yields quick wins, it's undoubtedly the most costly channel to acquire new patients for your facility. More importantly, the admissions inflow will stop overnight when you turn off the credit card funding the party! Nor do you have a marketing framework that can support expansion plans or increase your company valuation - It's 100% Red Ocean Strategy at the mercy of a double-digit YoY 'Googleflation' (>20% YoY in 2024) For 2025, we recommend you allocate more resources toward the low-cost marketing fundamentals like Local SEO, Alumni, and Referral Strategies before increasing your ad budget as the market only gets more saturated each day. With a sales-empowered CRM setup and fine-tuned admissions processes, these channels—when combined with a solid Business Development strategy—can drive 50-75% of your census at half the cost of Google Ads. Finally, if PPC is an integral strategy of your lead generation, we recommend exploring Microsoft Ads as well instead of just Google Ads, since it will give you an overall more favorable CPA instead of diminishing returns when only focusing on increasing your Google Ads budget. What are your thoughts? Do you recognize the above-mentioned patterns with your facility's sales & marketing efforts? Contact us for more: 📩 [email protected] ☎️ (302) 599-6758

Growing census in a profitable fashion is challenge for many #addictiontreatment and #mentalhealth centers. After 2 years with elev8.io and working with 30+ facilities in US, ranging from 6 to 400 beds, I've detected certain patterns. Many facilities pour hundreds of thousands into Google Ads or Pay-Per-Call campaigns via shady lead aggregators. And while both channels most often yield quick wins, they're undoubtedly the most costly channels to acquire new patients for your facility. More importantly, the admissions inflow will stop overnight when you turn off the credit card funding the party! Nor do you have any intellectual property or a marketing framework that can support expansion plans or your company valuation - It's 100% Red Ocean Strategy at the mercy of a double-digit YoY 'Googleflation' (>20% in 2023) Instead, I recommend grabbing the low hanging fruit by enhancing the low-cost marketing fundamentals like Local SEO, Alumni and Referral Strategies. With a sales-empowered CRM setup and admissions processes fine-tuned they can, especially when combined with a solid Business Development strategy, drive 60-75% of your census at half the cost of Google Ads or Pay-Per-Call. Finally, if deploying PPC campaigns in order to reach full census, I recommend Microsoft Ads first over Google Ads with at least $20-30k/mo with a more favorable CPA until diminishing returns occur and the shift to Google Ads. Below is visual representation and my 2 cents on 'Maslow's Hierarchy of Admission Needs' for #behavioralhealth centers. What are you thoughts? Do your recognize above-mentioned patterns with your facility's sales & marketing efforts?

In order for life sciences companies to improve clinical trial #diversity, they should revisit their approach to selecting the right #trialsites. One flawed approach is to overlay U.S. census data with claims data in an attempt to find the right population and set up a study site where they live. But just because the desired patients may live in a certain area doesn’t mean they’re also treated at the closest clinical center. Using local demographics to choose sites doesn’t always result in successful outcomes. See why a more sophisticated solution is needed.
