I have just published an article: Deep Dive into the Definition of Done (DoD). The DoD is one of the critical practices for higher performance of the software development team. I dig deep into what it is and how it improves a project's performance. https://lnkd.in/gq82JqdH

One of the core pillars of implementing an Internal Developer Platform in Platform Engineering is Golden Paths. Platform Engineering seeks to solve the chaos of multiple Agile Teams using varying tools, systems and processes to deliver software. The principle in Platform Engineering that helps to ensure flexibility and unification of tools and services, also to meet security and governance requirements is Golden Paths. It entails defining the life-cycle or journey of a microservice or project will run through before it gets to production. Git repository to be used, CI/CD processes, security checks and system configuration models, update strategy and general management. It is the established path a service should go through before automating the process with a Platform Orchestrator.

Over the weekend, I explored a vital tool for DevOps engineers: Docker. Docker is an open-source containerization platform that allows developers to package applications into containers, ensuring consistent performance across different environments. This eliminates the common issue of "it works on my machine," enabling developers to focus on coding rather than environmental inconsistencies. The Docker workflow starts with a Dockerfile, which contains instructions to build a Docker image. This image is a lightweight, standalone, executable package that includes everything needed to run an application—code, runtime, libraries, and settings. Running this image as a Docker container ensures seamless execution in any environment. In the coming days, I plan to write a blog discussing various Docker projects, highlighting its practical uses and how it simplifies the development process. My journey with Docker is just beginning, and I’m excited about the efficiency and innovation it brings to DevOps practices.. Thanks to Cloudboosta Technology Soln Oladapo Babalola

Scaling Firmware Development Made Easy! As embedded systems grow increasingly complex, scalability becomes a major concern. The diversity of platforms, tools, and hardware configurations can hinder growth and make it challenging to develop adaptable firmware. At Dojo Five, we’re your partners in modern firmware development, transforming embedded systems with cutting-edge innovations that boost quality, efficiency, and security. With over 335 years of combined expertise, we deliver tailored solutions that accelerate projects and mitigate risks. In our latest blog, we explore how the inherent complexity in embedded systems obstructs scalability and provide practical strategies to overcome these hurdles: 🔑 Key Strategies: 1.Modular Code Architecture: Create reusable components for easy adaptation to new hardware. 2.Automated Testing: Implement various testing methods to catch bugs early. 3. CI/CD Pipelines: Automate builds and deployments to accelerate iterations. 4.Cross-Platform Tools: Use frameworks like Zephyr OS to maintain code portability. With over 335 years of combined expertise, our team integrates seamlessly with yours, driving immediate results and long-term improvement. Want to dive deeper? When "done" isn't clearly defined, miscommunication derails progress between development, QA, and product teams. A well-defined Definition of Done (DoD) helps teams align, manage risks, and deliver quality software. Did you know projects with clear definitions have a 62% success rate vs. 6% for those without? Learn how to create clarity and ensure successful releases in our latest post: https://lnkd.in/ebTABtKu #SoftwareDevelopment #QualityAssurance #DefinitionOfDone #ProductManagement #TeamAlignment #QA
