Successful retention of volunteers surely has similar values and practices for charities to consider when retaining donors, funders, members, and staff? So with that mind in this NEW Community Life Survey 2023/24 reveals that formal volunteering declined from 27% in 2013/14 to 16%!! What are the causes of that then? I am not sure the reasons given for not volunteering (work, other activities, and children) reveal the underlying issues of that decline🤔 #Charity #Volunteering

"Are you aware of the minimum distribution requirements for your Private Ancillary Fund (PAF)?" Each year, a PAF must distribute at least 5% of its net assets to eligible Deductible Gift Recipients (DGRs), or a minimum of $11,000 if 5% of the assets fall below this threshold. However, no distributions are required during the PAF's first year of operation. PAFs can only distribute to DGR Item 1 entities, such as public benevolent institutions, educational bodies, or cultural organisations - ensuring donations go towards impactful causes that align with community needs.   Ensure your PAF meets its distribution obligations while supporting meaningful change.
