It was exactly one year ago during Slush when I made a big decision: To leave the company I founded and put ✨all-in✨ to enable safe and responsible use of AI, trusting fully to the vision of Meeri Haataja and Veera Siivonen. Never have I imaged all the amazing things we have experienced and achieved during this year and where this journey will take us. 💫 💥And then yesterday we announced big news: Saidot is entering to a new era by starting collaboration with Microsoft. This is a testimonial to that bold vision, to the hard work and dedication of the entire Saidot team and to what we get to experience every day with our wonderful customers: A product that has a great market-fit, is praised by the AI and data science teams of it's usability and knowledge graph and is soon enabling full E2E AI governance experience for organisations managing their AI systems in Azure. Everybody who has worked in a startup knows the feeling during these moments: Gratitude, excitement, a bit of fear of the work we have ahead. Microsoft Azure Microsoft - product and capabilities announced this morning during Ignite conference will propel the age of intelligence! What a day to witness dozens of tools announcement from MS to thrive in data and AI era - copilot actions, copilot agents, new silicon accelerators like DPU (need to play with to see the difference from Pensandos of the world), and Azure integrated HSM. And most importantly Azure AI Foundry with model, agent and accelerator marketplace. And Satya is not done with announcements yet! Satya Nadella and fearless leaders at MS never disappoint. It's been a while since I've been active here on LinkedIn. Life and projects kept me busy! My session, "Azure Meets RAG" was a deep dive into how Microsoft Azure integrates with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to create smarter, more efficient AI-driven solutions. During the session, I explored how Microsoft Azure capabilities empower RAG to process and retrieve data intelligently, unlocking new opportunities in generative AI. From discussing real-world applications to breaking down practical implementations. It was an absolute pleasure to share insights with such an engaged and innovative audience. Great way to learn about the latest in AI!

The keynote from Microsoft's CEO at their annual tech conference (Ignite) last weeks provides a good perspective on where AI with agents is going. It also demystify how those agents can be built and the role they are expected to play. Great insight into what is coming soon for Copilots and how they will be embedded into our daily lives with purposely built agents. Powerful update on Azure AI app platform (Azure AI Foundry), simplifying the overall model selection, development, experimentation journey. A huge thank you to the Microsoft Switzerland AI Tech Accelerator Team! I've just wrapped up an incredible journey at Microsoft, working for weeks at the Circle in Zurich with AI ninjas on cool new features for the domo.health medical platform. I can't help but reflect on the amazing experience it was. From the cutting-edge AI discussions to the learning and brainstorming sessions, every moment was a step forward in my tech journey. A big shout-out to the organizers and mentors who made this experience not only enriching but also thoroughly enjoyable (Maruscha Heyner, Benedikt Tegethoff, Tim Moser, Nitka Mittal, Jon-Paul Boyd, Francesco Sodano, Manuel Meyer, 🅰️ndre 🅱️ossard, and many others). Your dedication, expertise, and willingness to share your knowledge have been truly inspirational. The balance of professionalism with a fun and engaging atmosphere made each day something to look forward to. Among the many things I learned: - Microsoft is not filled with computer geeks in dark rooms. It is filled with plants (lots of plants) and helpful human beings (lots of human beings) focused on key goals, like the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. - Azure services are not a maze. They are like rooms in a house. And landing zones, network topology, ci/cd, infrastructure as code, etc. are the water, heating, electricity, etc. that make up the house. - AI is already giving birth to other AIs: You can build copilots in a matter of weeks using existing (e.g. GitHub) copilots.
