Digital bank records 8% rise in attempted payments against 2023, with new selfservice features in place for users looking to prevent themselves from any sort of gambling. Digital bank Monzo Bank blocked £9m worth of gambling transactions in 2024 – an 8% year-onyear increase against 2023 – after introducing new features to its bet blocking software.
