The aim of 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 is enhancing energy audit schemes in 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗘𝗜𝗜𝘀) with practical approaches. Do you want to know more about the project? Get to know our main objectives: 🎯 To establish working groups in 4 different industrial EU regions (Ireland, Poland, Galicia and Castellon) to understand nowadays gaps and needs to increase the impact of the energy audits performed in EIIs.  🎯To transform available technical and regulatory support tools related to the implementation of energy efficiency measures and/or renewable energy generation into practical know-how for value chain stakeholders.  🎯To reduce energy intensity of industrial processes of the EIIs involved in 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁.  🎯To bring together policymakers, associations, private companies, and technology providers to foster new standards and financial schemes to increase the investment in implementing energy efficiency measures identified in energy audit process. European Solar Industry Launches IPCEI Initiative for Solar Inverters Today, the European solar industry unveiled its initiative to deliver an Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) for solar inverters. The announcement came during the launch of the paper, “Inverters 2.0: Strengthening Europe’s Inverter Industry,” at Intersolar Europe in Munich. Representatives from the inverter industry presented the IPCEI concept to Kerstin Jorna, Director-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs at the European Commission. 🌍🌞 First ESIA paper on Net Zero Industry Act! European Solar PV Industry Alliance calls for quick action from policymakers to set, as soon as possible, suitable conditions for consolidating existing manufacturers and massively scaling-up the European solar industry. In this paper, ESIA recommends setting tight, yet realistic milestones for the publication and implementation of the NZIA, key tool to relocate strategic value chains back in Europe. The ESIA thus urges Member States to make use of the NZIA provisions at their full extent, thereby supporting an ambitious European-based industrial ramp up. Furthermore, the ESIA calls for the introduction of additional instruments, such as a European Sovereignty Fund supporting CAPEX or a specific scheme to support OPEX.
