I had a great conversation at the CEO panel of PwC's Asset & Wealth Management Conference last week, hosted by @Paul Pak. Coming from different backgrounds in the public and private sectors, together we shared our various perspectives on navigating the evolving wealth and asset management space: 1. Wealth managers are still a key distribution channel for asset managers especially when the goal is to reach across the full array of client segments from UHNWIs to family offices to the affluent. 2. We also believe that private markets today play a key role in long-term investment plans, with potential benefits in terms of better risk-adjusted performance over traditional asset classes and enhanced diversification. This is also one of the favorites of next gen investors, on top of the global network and scale that they look for in wealth and assets managers, given how connected and dynamic the world is today. 3. Living to 100 will change dramatically the way we allocate asset and plan for succession. 4. Looking ahead, there will be new opportunities for us in the future of finance, with many new solutions to come for profit and philanthropy. #wealth #nextgen #futureoffinance
