#OpenToWork | A Year In, Still Focused on What Matters It's been nearly a year since my time with AT&T came to an end, and this journey has brought challenges, almost-there moments, and unexpected growth. I’ve had some wins in this job search—getting through multiple interview rounds, receiving positive feedback—but no final offer yet. I won’t lie; it’s tough, and I’m feeling it. At my core, I’m a customer advocate and problem solver. My career has always been about finding ways to improve experiences, make systems work better, and bring real value to customers. Now, I’m looking for a helping hand to connect me with the next opportunity where I can do what I do best: helping customers, colleagues, and teams overcome roadblocks and achieve great things. This is what drives me. This is my ethos. Call to Action: If you or anyone in your network is looking for someone with a passion for Customer Experience, Product Transformation, or Process Improvement, I’d appreciate any leads or connections. With your help, I can bring my skills and dedication to the right team. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me this past year—every comment, message, and connection means a lot. Please feel free to share this post or reach out directly. #JobSearch #CustomerAdvocacy #ProcessImprovement #Networking #Transformation #Resilience #StrongerTogether

All others will be deleted with the assumption they are fake/bot driven. THANK YOU in advance for your continued support. ❤️ #nextexcitingadventure #opentowork #jobseeker

This past long weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving, so on this #TeachableTuesday, I think it'd be valuable to consider what I've been thankful for since being #OpenToWork: 1) I'm #thankful for all of the friends, family, and former colleagues that have reached out to check in, offer advice, praise past deeds, or present a new connection. Networking during this tough time has been a blessing, and every conversation has mutual value. I'm eager to keep it up, so reach out. 2) Couldn't be more #thankful to the hiring managers I've worked with that have been clear with feedback on process and updates when I've reached out and asked. I am not thankful for those that ghost, or present "alternate truths" when either kicking off or wrapping up a hiring conversation. 3) I've learned to be #thankful for screeners or interviewers that can understand life's context and see what a candidate can bring instead of making assumptions and only caring about the ARR that you've handled or revenue you've brought in. If you care about people, show it. 4) Finally, I'm #thankful for the chance to explore a variety of markets and industries that I do not have experience in but may align well with my skillset. While some work and some don't, this job market has dictated drastic measures. While I might not necessarily be able to spin up a resume positioning everything perfectly in 30 minutes (that's what AI, coaches, and eval systems are for), in order to find an appropriate fit, one cannot hold oneself back. Here's hoping that I can soon be #thankful for the chance to join a new team within the next couple of weeks that will give me the chance to grow into a comfortable new role!

I've started this post a couple of times, typing out words and sentences, and then deleting them, only to start over again. Finding the right words to convey the message I want hasn't been as easy as I thought. Maybe I'm trying too hard to find the perfect post (hence my post yesterday about letting perfection get in the way of progress.) 🤔 So, I officially put it out in the universe today. I am seeking my next opportunity after my position was eliminated as part of a reduction in force. Thankfully I've had some time to process and work through the emotions that come from a layoff, but I am anxious to find my next opportunity to contribute and make a difference! Recently I've begun to reach out to network and connect with others on LinkedIn. I have found many helpful posts from many helpful people who seem to genuinely want to provide support. I appreciate the connections and the guidance as I am beginning this job search journey. I hope that I can also provide support to others as we navigate this life changing event together! I am seeking roles in client support, service delivery, implementation. I most recently supported financial services clients, but also have background in contact center, travel, retail, telecom and tech support. I am a passionate people leader who has had the privilege of leading direct and cross-functional teams. I look forward to connecting! #opentowork #opentoconnect #clientrelationships #programmanagement #peopleleader #processimprovement #strategy #execution

Dear LinkedIn Friends; For the past several weeks, I have been intentional about my days: who I spend it with, and making time for things that bring me joy. During this period of transition, my "schedule" has consisted of talking to friends, some travel, a few days of skiing, family time, and many trips to the local dog park. I have had a chance to do some soul searching and reflect. I am grateful for the colleagues that I have worked with and learned from, throughout my hospitality career with (primarily) various Marriott and Hyatt hotels. I take pride in the accomplishments and successes we have achieved together. A great perk in the hospitality world has been the opportunity to travel to beautiful destinations, and I cherish the memories created. However, I am ready to move on, write my next chapter, and find my next “Dream Job”. I am deeply passionate about creating relationships, and thrive on providing options and finding solutions. I love building teams, and I am eager to connect with organizations where I can combine my 15+ years of progressive sales experience and leadership skills, can make a quick impact with a new team, and continue to learn and grow. Recently, I have taken some assessments and here are some of my results / strengths: ⭐ Highly Helpful & Customer-oriented ⭐ Strong Problem-solver & Analytical skills ⭐ Creative & Flexible ⭐ Highly Team-oriented & Collaborative ⭐ Strong leadership skills ⭐ Empathy & Integrity ⭐ Communication & Project Management I would love to hear from you if you are aware of any full-time opportunities, are able to make an introduction, offer some advice, or just have a conversation. I am also open to hybrid roles or fully remote positions. Feel free to tag, share, or otherwise boost my post or reach out to me directly. For any fellow jobseekers/ career changers, I am happy to reciprocate and share experiences and / or be your referral. Thank you for your support; it means so much to me. Here’s to new beginnings and endless possibilities! #opentowork #networking #makeachange #landmydreamjob #newbeginnings #developmentandgrowth

Job searching is a journey, and like any journey, it comes with its ups and downs. Recently, I was in the final stages for a role I was incredibly excited about, only to find out the company chose an internal hire instead. It’s not the first time this has happened, and I know it won’t be the last. Hearing “no” after getting so close can feel like a letdown, especially when you’ve poured your energy and enthusiasm into the process. But here’s the thing: every “no” brings me one step closer to the right “yes.” These experiences are teaching me patience, strengthening my resilience, and helping me refine what I bring to the table. It’s also a reminder that every step, even the challenging ones, is part of a bigger picture—one where I end up exactly where I’m supposed to be. To everyone else navigating the ups and downs of job searching, you’re not alone. Keep showing up, keep believing in yourself, and trust the process. The right opportunity is out there, and it will find you when the time is right. Let’s cheer each other on, celebrate our wins (big and small), and stay hopeful for what’s ahead! #JobSearch #OpenToWork #Resilience

To my LI network, I’ve never been one to openly express on this platform, but it’s time I reach out to my resources. I’ve been on a wild ride the last couple of years with layoffs and furloughs. 3 job losses due to budget cuts and major financial challenges in the Tech industry in just 2.5 years; all out of my control. I find myself applying for unemployment for the 3rd time in a very short amount of time come August. It’s been a punch in the gut, a hard pill to swallow. But I have to put on my big girl pants and get back out there. I’m ready and I am hopeful that my next opportunity is right around the corner. I just need to get the word out that I am open to work and I am worth your time! I’ve been building my Customer Success skills for the past 4 years. I was a teacher for 5 years. I have invaluable skills, a willingness to learn, and a work ethic that can transfer to any industry if we can just have a conversation so I can show you my worth. I’m asking my network to share, comment or like this post for reach, or message me directly if you know of any opportunities. I’m not asking for hand outs; just hoping this can reach as many people as possible so I can find my next role in this relentless job market. I’m looking for, and have the skill set for: - Customer/client success management - Engagement manager - Account management - Implementation management - Onboarding specialist - Product trainer - Customer advocacy - Or anything that falls under the customer success umbrella (as all companies structure these teams uniquely) I love working in education, but I’d also love to step outside the education sector and into other industries to grow my experience in other ways! Please like/comment/share/reach out. I’d love to kick this job search off with a bang! #opentowork #jobsearch #jobseeker #networking #careerdevelopment #careersearch #letsconnect #customersuccess

I've been encouraged not to post #opentowork or put the green banner 🤢 on my profile because it shows you're desperate or what have you. But what can I say? Mama didn't raise a rule follower or a quitter, so here it goes. #Shameless self-advertisement loading... (Emojis and hashtags free of charge) I am a #transitioningteacher that left the classroom in May, never to return. I genuinely enjoyed teaching, #buildingrelationships, learning new things, but I have a strong sense of knowing when something isn't working for me anymore, and I decided it was time to try something new. With that being said, I felt my skills would best be used in the #CustomerSuccess space since so many of my skills are #transferable to that industry. I LOVE #people. I love helping people. I love communicating, building rapport, maintaining relationships, and problem-solving 🛎 . And if I've learned nothing else, it is that CS people are MY PEOPLE. They are all of this and more! A little bit about me: I think well on my feet, and I have an incredible #drive. I love the "#hustle" of completing tasks early, working through difficult-to-manage situations, and showing someone to love what they didn't know they needed, AFTER making sure they had the things they do know they need. I can say with all certainty, after interacting and networking with this #community, that I was quite literally BUILT for this industry. I KNOW I can do this job without even having it yet. Will I be perfect? No. But I would love to show someone what I can do and surprise 🎉 them with the #results. I've been told the first step to fixing a problem is being able to identify it. If I was to identify the issue landing a role in this industry, I would definitely say it boils down to two things: *Lack of experience in a #customer-facing/ #SaaS role *Lack of the ability to be able to #travel ✈ (this cuts down on positions I can apply for) With ALL that being said, if you work for a #company or #organization that has a position like this open, or YOU are hiring for a similar role, please reach out to me! I would love to show up and show out! What I lack in skill set, I'm currently gaining through #LinkedInLearning and #SuccessCoaching. But, what I lack in experience, I also make up in spades with #motivation, 🏅 #organization, and #people-centric #professionalism. I'm #fluent in #GoogleSuite, #MicrosoftOffice, & multiple #edtech platforms. I also have some training in #salesforce, #hubspot, and #CRMprinciples. There - there's my shameless plug, my "elevator pitch", my story. If you are interested in knowing more, please reach out. At the very least, if I cannot benefit your company or organization, I would love to #connect and gain a #friend. 😎 Have a great day, LinkedIn!
