Just completed Seasons 1 and 2 from the "Namaste NodeJS" course. It was an amazing learning experience led by the renowned Akshay Saini 🚀. In Season-1, revisited and got an in-depth understanding of Node.js fundamentals, including Event Loop, Thread Pool, V8 JavaScript Engine, module.exports, require, synch, asynch, await, timeout methods, establishing a DB connection with SQL & NoSQL and the basics of MongoDB. Get a chance to learn more about the libuv library while diving deep into the NodeJS git repository. Season-2 was complete hands-on project-based learning focused on practicle application using Node.js, Express, MongoDB and React stack. After 3 months of hands-on learning, I’m thrilled to have completed the Node.js certification course! During the course, I mastered essential backend skills including logging, user authentication (signup, registration), working with MongoDB, and integrating a payment system using Stripe. I also explored Pug, which allowed me to build dynamic templates similar to HTML, all while developing in VS Code. 🛑 "MERN is Dead"? 🛑 Sure, I might agree... but only if all you've done is follow a basic "bhaiya-didi" course with limited exposure beyond building Express APIs and basic CRUD operations. The truth is, MERN is far from dead when you actually dive deep and leverage the full potential of MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js. If you’re only scratching the surface, you might miss out on what this stack can really do.
