The power of the internet is ... MAD An influencer posted about one of our partner bags yesterday on YouTube. Mrwhosethe Boss featured the NOMATIC (Gomatic) Travel Pack to his 19M subscribers. He didn't charge us £10,000s, he actually didn't charge us anything. Instead he just posted about it because it's an incredible product and his videos are authentic. Content Creator / Influencers that are heading down the road of charging for everything and having to have #Ad are starting to lose their authenticity. If you know someone is being paid, then do you really value their opinion? I think the world of content creators and influencers will continue to morph and change. Nowadays it's all about INTERACTIONS not views. If you run a direct-to-consumer brand, here's why you should think about an influencer funnel strategy. Previously, influencers were used for pay-per-post, which is now not really a good strategy to opt-in for. It's different now; the playbook is outdated and highly saturated. As marketers say, it's inauthentic. Instead, the new move is to work with influencers at different levels who specialize in creating content at different funnel stages, from TOFU to BOFU. The reason being, not every influencer you work with can provide that reach and conversion at the same time. So selecting influencers with this strategy can be effective in not burning your budget mindlessly.
