For Royce Communications, moving towards Net Zero Sustainability means actively exploring environmentally conscious ways of working now. For over 30 years, we have been a trailblazer in the area of sustainability. In 2021, we compiled all of our previous measures into a roadmap and adopted a strategic sustainability goal: “Through the manufacture of sustainable products, we aim for climate-neutral production beginning in 2023; our goal is to achieve complete climate neutrality by 2030.” This is an ambitious strategic objective—but it is one that we will achieve. By the end of 2023, we had already accomplished our first goal: we no longer emit any CO2 in our own operations. ZERO IS GREATER THAN NEUTRAL Carbon neutrality is great, but Net Zero is greater. The two terms are often used interchangeably but the difference is very important.   Carbon neutrality involves buying carbon reduction credits (offsetting) equivalent to the emissions you release but without any actual requirement to cut those emissions.   A Net Zero strategy means actually cutting emissions with an accredited plan.
