It may not be the wisest decision, but I am creating a document that could be titled: "How to Implement Your Own Digital Experience Mesh." The Digital Experience Mesh is the architectural concept behind StreamX. It is designed as a distributed, event-driven, and stateful alternative to traditional web system architectures, particularly those that heavily rely on request-reply models. The purpose of the "Digital Experience Mesh Overview" guide is to explain the concepts, reasoning, and decisions behind DXM, with the explanation what are the consequences and results. To give you a glimpse: There is one diagram I like the most—a comparison between the event-driven push model and the traditional pull model. Some questions to consider: - How many points of failure exist in each version? - How many services do we need to scale to handle more load? - Which systems' availability is critical for site availability (and performance)? - How many requests (and how deep those requests go) are needed to gather information for rendering the page? - How many systems need to be replicated (e.g., in China or Russia) to achieve a fully distributed setup? The DXM architecture incorporates several additional principles that, together, can help you build faster, more scalable, and resilient solutions. This applies not only to static pages but also to services that handle large volumes of data and connect multiple systems.

A critical element of a #PlatformStrategy is the insight that innovation isn't opposed to harmonization / standardization. The prime example is HTTP: a worldwide standard that has been the greatest innovation booster the IT world has seen in three decades. Once you realize these are independent dimensions, you can have more fruitful discussions about the shape of the curve and how you can push the curve, e.g. to realize more innovation while maintaining standardization.
