part 8 TODAY'S GOOD TO GREAT, NEXT GENERATION OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE Conclusively, Rather than build a large team of people—at high stress and turnover levels—to deal with quality shortcomings, the company is using AI to overcome data issues that were often the root sources of errors and customer complaints. For the remaining issues, AI is expanding worker capabilities, letting them trawl through previous resolutions to find answers that otherwise were sought over and over in manual processes. Achieving operational excellence isn’t easy. Leaders will need to reassess the organization’s purpose and strategy and introduce new principles and behaviors—essentially, they will need to rewire the organization’s DNA. They will need to rethink their management and technical systems, and the supporting structures, processes, and objectives, with a ruthless focus on value creation. Operational excellence is not something that leaders can whip up in time for the next quarterly report. It may take years—even decades—to unlock all the latent talent in an organization and deploy it to its fullest possible effect. If leaders take shortcuts and decide that “the tools alone will get us where we need to go,” the impact will likely evaporate in months. ROAD TO SUCCESS: CLEAR BUSINESS ETHICS & WINNING SPIRIT WITH POSITIVE MINDSET My dear LinkedIN and Automotive Aftermarket Community, after this thrilling week with USA Election, German Government Offsite and Valencia Floods I feel flashed back to my first LinkedIN post, published 20 months ago. Feel invited to have a look: Today is Sunday, for me as a modern traditionalist always a special day to spend time with the family and especially my two small boys after an exciting week in the Automotive World. Next to that I also try to find some time to reflect about our environment and assess what we in the Industy and myself specifically can do to make our world a better, more sustainable place to live and how our innovative Philips Products can contribute to more safety and a better planet ultimately. With over 22 years of sales and marketing experience mainly in the Automotive Industry, for me traditional core values like trust, respect, honestness, reliability, fairness, loyalty and partnership make the difference. It is people who make the difference - I drive Key Account Management for my area Global ITG and OES around the human being. My way of working is a two-sided partnership approach, always looking for best solutions and new opportunities hand-on-hand alongside with my Key Accounts and our company goals/ mission. CHANGE is key in these times of business transformations. Thinking BIG and going BEYOND is the only path forward to remain successful in my view. I am ready to drive with our key customers into the next stage of cooperation. TEAMPLAY is deeply embedded in my character. I have the strong believe that change needs to be embedded in the DNA of a company and team to remain successful. Personally I live change and motivate people around me to join this path.
