This in an interesting chart, but why do we expect the ratio of unknown-to-known value loss to increase so much over time? Usually, I would expect the opposite, like we see with data breach disclosure rules.
How can someone get the report that this is cited in? I registered for the webinar just now but I have a conflict at that time and won't be able to attend. Hopefully also it's recorded.
It's interesting that the growth rates have slowed since 2020. This seems unexpected given how prevalent these attacks seem to be in the media. Is there a hypothesis for this?
I took a look at the report yesterday and was really loving the data analysis. Specifically, I thought the breakdown of the financial loss relative to the event frequency by industry to be fascinating to see.
