A Friendly Reminder that December 1 is the Drummond Deadline for two regulations requirements based on the HTI-1 Final Rule. Both the Decision Support Intervention (DSI) Update and the Standardized FHIR Endpoints Requirement are part of the ONC's updated certification criteria for #HealthIT developers. Submit all requirements by then to ensure Drummond has enough time to support your organization before the end of the year. https://loom.ly/bz5vpIc #HTI1 #DSI #b11

Understanding the TEFCA Manner Exception for Information Blocking! Sometimes, barriers to healthcare information sharing occur without the intent to block data exchange. The ONC has defined nine exceptions to protect against information blocking complaints. One key exception is the TEFCA Manner Exception, which allows healthcare actors to fulfill requests for electronic health information (EHI) via TEFCA without being considered information blocking, as long as specific conditions are met. 📌 Key Conditions: ➡️ Mutual Participation: Both parties must be part of TEFCA. ➡️ Support via TEFCA: The EHI exchange must be supportable via TEFCA. ➡️ Non- ONC Mandated API Requests: Data sharing requests using this manner exception should not fall under ONC-mandated API standards. ➡️ Compliance with Fees and Licensing: Fees and licensing must meet the specified exceptions. Stay compliant while leveraging the efficient TEFCA framework! #TEFCA #InformationBlocking #HealthcareIT

Interoperability, care model evolution, payviders, AI, ACO, VBC, EHR, EMR, PHR, HIE, QHIO, QHIN, RCE, and ONC. These words, initialisms, and acronyms mean very little without trust. Specifically, trust in our health care system that patient's information is safe and is available to clinicians to provide informed, safe and less costly care for their patients. It’s the cornerstone to the work Surescripts does every day, enabling billions of exchanges of health intelligence each year. These updated and new SOPs released by the RCE The Sequoia Project, reinforce their commitment to placing trust and integrity at the heart of their work as our nation’s TRUSTED Exchange Framework. Building on the foundation of trust, they’ve also captured the appropriate balance to truly enable opportunities for innovation by ensuring the transparent and rapid review of new use cases. This is an exciting moment and a strong indication of the progress we will continue to see between the RCE and ONC in partnership with the industry leaders toward our shared goal of improving patient care.

In a significant move, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) introduced the Change Request Form (CRF) on the V3 portal, enhancing the MCA-21 platform for users. Unveiled on February 19, 2024, the CRF is designed for unique circumstances, enabling stakeholders to submit specialised requests to the Registrar of Companies (RoCs). The CRF addresses scenarios not covered by existing forms or services, serving as a comprehensive solution for tasks like rectifying Master Data and complying with court directives. RoCs commit to processing CRF submissions within a 3-day, then forwarding them to the Joint Director (e-governance cell) for a decision within 7 days. This new addition to the MCA-21 platform aims to speed up request resolutions, providing a streamlined process for those seeking specialised solutions. CMS Memo…digging in now. “We have recalculated the 2024 Star Ratings using the published 2023 Star Ratings cur points to determine the guardrails for the 2024 Star Ratings (i.e., Tukey outliers were not removed from the 2023 Star Ratings). We have assigned all contracts the recalculated 2024 overall and/or summary Star Ratings if those recalculated ratings result in higher QBP Ratings than what was previously assigned based on the contract’s overall and/or summary 2024 Star Ratings that were released in October 2023. If this recalculation would result in a contract’s QBP Rating decreasing compared to the ratings previously assigned, CMS is not implementing the change for those contracts and those contracts will be held harmless in this recalculation. A contract’s QBP Rating will not be decreased by CMS as a result of this recalculation.” Data available now in HPMS!!! #Stars #CMSMEMO #Medicare
