Here are 3 keys things I’ve learned over the past 5 years: 1- Plan plan plan! ✨ If we fail to plan, we plan to fail. Preparing the message, method, audience, and so much more is fundamental to year-end giving success. The Holy Spirit is in our preparation! This is good news. Map out your methods of communicating (text, email, social media, direct mail). •Map out your messaging. •Map out who you will speak with and when. •Map out what you will say and what are you going to ask of them. 2- Begin tilling the soil early. ✨ This is about hearts, not wallets. Cultivating a spirit of generosity requires thst we first accept the invitation to become more like Christ in this season. Follow me as I follow Christ. As believers AND fundraisers, our aim should be helping people grow spiritually. 3- You don’t simply need use tools. You need partners. ✨ You often hear people say that tools are only as good as your ability to use them. I’d go a step further. Tools are best utilized when there’s true partnership. Your organization needs to use platforms and softwares that have your back and walk with you through this important time.
