So when we talk about a literature review or let's say a mini literature review, we are referring to a concise version. Typically literature reviews can be quite lengthy, as you know, but for your proposal or research report you will be focusing on a virgin that's limited to about 5 to 6 pages, plus your references. So now let's get something clear. A literature review is not just a list where you describe or summarize one piece of literature after another. It's not about reading 10 papers and then writing a summary for each. What we aim for in a literature review is to evaluate the major points of these papers and present them in an organized.
