RBB’s Vitaly Pruzhansky will present on the topic of ‘Economics of Private Enforcement’ at the annual competition law conference in Riga, organised by Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia and European Law Institute, on 20 September. The conference will focus on the quantification of competition law infringements damages and will cover the principle of full compensation and its application in practice. It was my honour to take part in the Competition Law Conference and to share my research presentation with my student colleagues. I would like to express sincerely my gratitude to the Professors Dubravka Aksamovic and Lidija Šimunović who are providing such a wonderful opportunity for students to dive deep into the competition law. Competition Law is the necessity in our modern globalised world with all the elements of global trade and economic interrelation. After my research I made a conclusion that the Competition Law is a tool to ensure fair and free market economy!
