Every life's journey is valuable
I hold a degree in animal management, yet my current job is unrelated to animals. I've accepted that I may never utilize my degree professionally, aside from my weekly volunteer work at a primate sanctuary. Nevertheless, my education has imparted valuable knowledge, as well as a way of life. Always be kind, always be compassionate, and always check your shoes for number two. Just because your degree isn't being used in a professional manner, doesn't mean it was a waste of time and resources. It took me a while to understand and appreciate this, but better late than never!

Do you know what an arboricultural consultant does? From speaking to friends, families and other professionals, I feel that the role is often misunderstood. Over the coming months we will be shedding some light on what it is that we get up to day-to-day. But for now, the video below provides a snapshot of some of the key aspects of our work and weekly activities. If the below seems appealing (particularly spending large parts of your day outside) then why not consider a career in arboriculture? There is a succession crisis in the industry with a distinct lack of new entrants and therefore as an industry we are desperate for people to get involved. Plus, I can assure you, it is a thoroughly rewarding career. #trees #arboriculture #arboriculturalconsultant #careers #jointheindustry
Variety is the spice of life, and that's why we wanted to share a week in the life of an arboricultural consultant. Each day is different, and as we specialise in all aspects of tree management advice, we can help you with your project needs from a single point of contact. Whatever your tree concerns, or if you want to explore employment opportunities, call us to talk through your options - 01608 692705. #arboriculture #treemanagement #oxfordshire #cotswolds #trees

👋 Meet Greg Walls from NSW Ports, one of our subject matter experts and our guest speaker presenting an update on the NSW Ports project at the Industrial and Supply Chain Part 2 course in Sydney on 30 April - 2 May. Port Botany and Port Kembla are critical to the economic growth and prosperity of the State and nation, contributing $13.6 billion per annum to gross state product and supporting more than 64,000 jobs. Greg's presentation will focus on the container supply chains in Sydney and NSW – how, where and why freight moves around the State and why industrial land and freight and logistics developments are critical to continued economic growth. NSW Ports’ 40 Year Master Plan outlines what the future holds for freight and logistics in Sydney and NSW. We will look at emerging trends, trade forecasts, and the drivers of these changes over the next 40 years. The details: 📅 30 April - 2 May 2024 | Sydney https://lnkd.in/ghb9dsSF Flexible study options available.
