In my opinion my Britain is a tolerant Britain.
I consider myself British and I am from the British culture.
I love my Punjabi sikh culture, but Britain has given me a lot and I intend to do everything I can to save our country and teach my children about our marvellous nation and it’s marvellous people.
Anyone can make it here you just have to work hard.
I have read history and I encourage all that hate to do the same thing hate leads nowhere.
We have an amazing democracy which is envied from all around the world. I agree it’s not perfect but religion should be kept well away from politics.
In the video, we have a service man who served our country to uphold our universal values, and he has articulated his feelings in a most noble way.
You have to make a decision now in terms of you have to embrace British values.
If you don’t embrace British values, then you perhaps need to think about leaving.
We need a national discussion on being British and adhering to our values in Britain.
That is live and let live and respect for one another.
I am sad to say that some parts of society will not subscribe to those values.
If we do not address this issue now in our society, then I’m afraid that radical politics will enter into our land.
We cannot have people harassed on our streets for their beliefs.
We cannot have a majority bullying the minority.
You cannot blame a race of people for the governments actions.
What about Tony Blair and Iraq? Many have chosen to forget this.
Some people may choose to live in a war torn country with a dictatorship. I do not want to import that ideology over to our country and those who seek to enforce it upon us will fail.
The fire of extremism needs to be extinguished by us all collectively and believe me many people from all faiths share my views.
