https://lnkd.in/dfyf4iJD In response to growing environmental awareness, skincare brands are adopting innovative jar designs made with sustainable materials. APackaging Group offers a variety of smart options to meet these rising market demands. Skincare formulas often contain sensitive ingredients that require protection from air, light, and contaminants. Innovative jar designs now incorporate airless technology, which helps to preserve the efficacy of the skincare product by preventing oxidation. Some jars also feature UV protective coatings or opaque materials to shield light-sensitive ingredients, ensuring that consumers receive the full benefits of the product with each use. #Webpackaging #PackagingInnovation #PersonalCare #SustainablePackaging

Sustainability from Another Perspective We can reduce waste and consumption, moving towards a higher quality product and more conscious usage. Of course, I’m talking about a skincare product from the brand I founded and direct, but there are dozens of other examples in various sectors. The core issues are fundamentally three, a number that has become a mantra for our brand. 🔝 The higher the product quality, the less quantity is needed to achieve the same effects. ⏳ If you massage the cream for more than 30 seconds, you may have used too much. 🚿 It is more effective to use a cosmetic product correctly than to use it too often. Our work with aaa/unbranded® aims to create highly effective products. This isn’t just about visible results, for which drinking water and maintaining a balanced diet are also necessary, but about the effectiveness of the product during use. If the sole aim is to sell, the formulation will be cheap, and the product will run out quickly. Conversely, if the goal is to offer a product whose benefits are felt from the first use, the formulation will be costly, and only a small amount will be needed per application. This is why the empirical 30-second rule is a good test. In this time, the product should be fully absorbed by the skin. So if after one minute you’re still massaging, there are two possibilities: either you’ve used too much product, or the formulation is of poor quality. Lastly, the way you apply the product is crucial. Always start with cleansing. This may seem obvious, but it’s not, as some people spend hundreds of quid on a body or face cream and only a few quid on a cleanser. These are the real factors that contribute to making the product more sustainable. In other words, the product should last longer, and less should be used. This way, in addition to having less packaging in landfills, we also see more visible effects on the skin. Let’s try to return to more effective products, which are naturally more expensive, and a more balanced and conscious use. Imagine a skincare product that looks perfect but fails to deliver. The true effectiveness often hinges on the packaging — Here’s why: In skincare, it’s not just about the ingredients; the packaging plays a crucial role too. Effective packaging maintains product integrity by preventing contamination and ensuring freshness from first use to last. It balances visual appeal with practical functionality. Types of Packaging: → Pump Mechanisms: Provides precise dispensing with a leak-proof lock. Suitable for various container types. → Dropper Bottles: Made from glass or durable plastic for accurate dispensing. Perfect for serums and essential oils. → Roll-On Applicators: Features a rolling ball for easy application. Commonly used for deodorants and perfumes. → Airless Packaging: Protects against air exposure, reducing oxidation. Extends shelf life and maintains product quality. → Glass Packaging: Offers a premium look and is recyclable. Durable and suitable for repeated use. → UV Protection: Shields products from harmful UV rays. Essential for items sensitive to sunlight. Think your skincare’s all about the formula? Think again. Packaging matters just as much. #skincarepackaging #packagingmatters #beautyessentials #airlesspackaging #pumpingmechanisms
