CEO Worldwide Amazon Stores

Amazon just broke our record for fast delivery speeds: So far in 2024, we’ve delivered at our fastest speeds ever, with more than 5 billion items arriving the same or next day globally! Thanks to some key advancements in regionalizing our network, improving inventory placement, and expanding our Same-Day Delivery service, we’re proud to be delivering to Prime members faster than ever. And importantly, we are continuing to make the safety of our employees a top priority, even as we deliver our vast selection at our fastest speeds. Massive kudos to many teams across Amazon for setting these new records. I’m excited to see how we continue to innovate to deliver for our customers! https://lnkd.in/gDq9MMmb

That’s great! Been trying to get a job @amazon but I would like to drive. Work Saturday and Sundays. Also a night or two during the week. Unless company needed me to. I’m helping my brother get back and forth to work but the Mansfield/Foxboro Ma area also Norton isn’t far so if I could deliver in those areas during the week and anywhere on the weekends. Get my hours in. It’s so hard to actually speak to someone. I never know if my application went through. I have experience.

Good to celebrate but there are platforms delivering in 10 minutes. They started with grocery and expanding the product range to electronis. Recently I ordered a web cam from app called blinkit which I got in just 13 min. Sometimes they deliver even faster. Below is an example where they delivered in just 7 min :) . One day I ordered from Amazon fresh and the order was supposed to be delivered on same day by 10pm. Amazon failed to deliver the order and the delivery date was changed to many days ahead . It took me a week to get that order cancelled and get my refund back(by interacting with more than 5 support person) and do you believe the same order which was placed on 13th July is still showing out for delivery (snapshot below). I also placed an order for drone worth 50k which was delivered in used condition, I managed to make a video while opening the box and reported the issue within 7 minutes of delivery that the item is used and broken. Still it took me a month to get my refund back .this was so frustrating that I had to run a campaign to get justice https://www.change.org/p/amazon-stop-harassing-customers-by-delivering-defective-products-and-delayed-resolution

Apologies for posting here, but I had no other ordering a fridge from Amazon, I followed up with the team for two weeks but only received false information about my order (like vehicle is not arranged to deliver the product). When I asked for the grievance redressal cell number or email ID, they said they didn't have it and couldn't share it. After escalating the issue on social media (Facebook), the SMR team contacted me and promised to respond within three business days, but they didn't. When I escalated again on Facebook, I received an email after 3 weeks, stating that the product was returned to the seller and that I would get a refund within 2-4 days. However, they didn't address my complaint. They now say they will pass my feedback to the concerned team but continue to ignore my complaint.

One of your "fast" delivery drivers left a hell of a mess on my front steps this morning, sloppy rushing is not somthing you should be particularly proud of.

They have category manager and customer support who don’t have manner to talk to a seller. Ridiculous.

Recording breaking is not always good news at the cost of customers. I’m a good customer and lately all my packages unless heavy are thrown into my front yard not even out of site. I have a little courtyard and it was so nice delivery drivers use to make sure my packages were nicely placed out of site by my front door. Recently just thrown. Record speeds aren’t worth it to me. And times are not being met as a prime member. Please start checking in with your customers more often. Thank you

I have read the self-eulogizing words of the CEO, but I bitterly smiled as I have not seen a few words for the people that deliver the 5 billion items. Just a half line about safety. Policies for employees are missing I.e. retention policy. There is no acknowledgement of the employees hard work. Having worked for two years in Amazon in Kaiserslautern, Germany and being the top associate in my Department in terms of productivity I had my contract not renewed without an explanation. This happened to multiple others at the same time with the same 2 year employment as myself. Amazon's plan is clear, don't keep employees longer than two years as the longer employment is costlier. New hires cost less, read basic salary. It seems Amazon turns to an organisation that does not promote the hard work merit and its driving force is economies. Funny enough they offer unlimited contract to some with no reference to productivity and efficiency. Favouritism, due to personal relation? I don't know. Thus, what remains is profit by all means. We will find others to replace the outgoing staff. Some of the new will naturally be hard working. The carousel keeps on going. Time for the CEO to look at the back yard. In any case, thanks for the 2 years.

Doug Herrington, you are right, that is some fast delivery. So fast in fact that it never showed up to my house at all. And instead of having good customer service about this, I am told to go make a police report which I do but, then I am told it is not good enough because it doesn't say stolen on the police report. So now I am out $250 and told I am out of look. So, only thing Amazon is delivering these days are jokes because it is beyond absurd that I have more than enough proof the package wasn't delivered and only way for me to get my product or refund is to make another police report and a false one at that. So, great job! Amazon
