The Women Cultivating Success Luncheons are focused on Strategic Networking and How to Succeed in the Cannabis Industry. Networking is important for success in the cannabis space. We attend networking events with the intention of having the right conversation or finding the right resource to move our career or company forward. Intention is not strategy. Prior to all events, attendees receive a complete list of all attendees’ names, company, website and LinkedIn links. The purpose is to give each attendee the opportunity to pre-arrange meetings at the event. Signature events begin with a Meet & Mingle, hors’ d Oeuvres and cocktails. When women come together and sit down at a table, movements and businesses are born and positive change happens. The Women Cultivating Success Luncheon does not pre-assign seating. We give each attendee a place card to place at the table/seat of their choice. This enables attendees to continue the conversation and connections they formed during the Meet & Mingle. During lunch, How to Succeed in the Cannabis Industry will be addressed by a panel of six successful cannabis business owners with expertise in accounting, compliance, law, management, and marketing. Questions and comments are welcomed. Our goal is to provide women in the cannabis space with what they need for financial success and growth in their careers and businesses. https://lnkd.in/gg6BN7q #womenscannabischamberofcommerce #womencultivatingsuccess #womenhelpingwomen #womensupportingwomen #womennetworking #cannabisindustry #cannabiscommumity #womenentrepreneurs #WCCC #womencultivatingsuccessconversations #womencultivatingsuccessluncheon #womencannabisnetworkingevents #cannabisindustrynetworkingevents #womeninthecannabisindustry #womenincannabiscareers #womenownedcannabiscompanies

For Chicago NORML, it's always been about normalizing cannabis conversations in our own communities. It's always been about creating access points to jump into the conversation -- no matter where the on-ramp starts. It may be hard to believe now, but the IL cannabis landscape was NOT this colorful in 2017. Folks were NOT flocking to open businesses and to openly attend ''consumption events''. Seniors and sick people who wanted relief from a myriad of conditions had few (and by few, I mean none) legal options. IL was indeed a hot mess of exclusivity, with hard to navigate and overreaching regulations. It's much better now, as evidenced by the faces and spaces, but by no means satisfactory. I don't care what you read in CapitolFax, Crains, or Politico. Chicago NORML has been here for all of it. We've been blessed, lucky, diligent, stubborn, and crazy enough to have a front-row seat to witness and participate in all the progress (and the backsliding, too). Marking our 7th year working to create space for owners, workers, patients & consumers, the Board and members will celebrate with a grown-up gala! Produced by none other than High-minded Events, this event is unlike any we've ever created. With intention and purpose, the gala is designed to showcase emerging local brands and introduce new perspectives on responsible and refined cannabis consumption in the City of Chicago. Our sponsors, many of whom are new to the cannabis space, have been carefully chosen to engage in these conversations for the first time. Attendees will enjoy an exciting time while also learning about our latest and ongoing initiatives." I invite you to join us for this special evening, where we’ll celebrate our progress, acknowledge the challenges ahead, and continue to push for a more inclusive and equitable cannabis landscape in Illinois. Together, we can keep the momentum going and continue to make real change happen. See you there! https://lnkd.in/gBbHWGwg #ChicagoNORML #CannabisCommunity #CannabisAdvocacy #HighMindedEvents #CannabisReform

Is Rosie Mattio the most powerful woman in cannabis? When you look at her: → Client roster → Longstanding stature → Role in driving the media narrative It’s hard to argue with that. MATTIO Communications is THE PR agency in cannabis. It counts just about every #MSO as client, has won cabinets full of awards and get its clients into the mainstream media spotlight. Let’s dive in: → Best book of business in the business — Curaleaf — Poseidon — Entourage Effect Capital — Green Thumb Industries (GTI) I could go on and on. It’s a veritable who’s who of the upper echelon of cannabis. It's the leaders that the media wants to hear from. → The art of relationship building Rosie knows EVERYONE. If you’ve ever been to one of MATTIO’s happy hours at Benzinga or MJBiz you’ll know: — The room is PACKED with cannabis’ top people She rub shoulders with the big companies. But she stays plugged in and connected to the up and comers. → Managing the industry’s message When you see: — Ben Kovler — Matt Hawkins — Morgan Paxhia On cable news talking about the impact of legalization, who put them there? You guessed it. When CBNC, MSNBC, Fox Business needs a spokesperson for cannabis, they call Rosie Mattio. Her status as the UNRIVALED gatekeeper to the mainstream media has made the publicist of choice for cannabis' biggest companies. — I have nothing but respect for the business and the awesome team she’s built. And she has FOUR kids, RUNS marathons, WINS body building contests! Jeez give the rest of us a chance! Give it up for Rosie 👏👏👏 Repost ♻️ if you respect this incredible woman and the trail she's blazed for us in this industry.

Our first 2024 Asian Cannabis Roundtable virtual event was a huge success!! Thanks to those of you who spent your precious time and hang with us. 🙏😊 It’s absolutely encouraging and inspiring to see so many Asian people who are in this industry to come together from all over the world on the Earth Day. 🌱 I came into this industry late (started Kota Botanics ™ in 2019) and often felt isolated and lonely while I kept hustling my butt to build my business. Being in an area that not many Asian people around and working in such a tough industry due to discrimination and stigma have been absolutely challenging. But now, I no longer feel alone because I realize that there are many Asian folks are just like me. And I want you to know that you are NOT ALONE. There’s still a long way to go to build this community. But together, we can do it. To my media friends and journalists, if you’d like to learn more about our non-profit organization and do an interview, please email us at [email protected]. To my Asian brothers and sisters who are in this industry or want to get involved in this industry and felt alone, please send below info to [email protected] so that we could connect. 1. Your full name, company, a brief bio. 2. Why is AAPINH representation in the cannabis industry important to you? 3. How can ACR help you in your professional/personal journey? 4. How can you contribute to our movement personally and/or through your company? Also, please sign up our newsletter here to keep up with the ACR: https://lnkd.in/gufmCDhk Together, we can do this!! Stay tuned as we continue to roll out more exciting events!! Have a blissful day! 🌷🌱🤗 #ACR #AsianCannabisRoundtable #AAPINH #AAPINHStrong
Our hearts are so full. Thanks for all of those that were able to attend the Asian Cannabis Roundtable's first virtual sesh with our board members. Beyond the networking and personal testimonies, it was simply awe-inspiring to see a room full of AAPI leaders in the cannabis space. Outside of the US, we had participation from Canada and even the UK! Representation matters so much as we carve a path for additional minorities to enter the space. If there was even ONE meaningful connection made, then we've done our job! Our call to action... please help us build a foundation for the ACR by answering these questions: Why is AAPI representation in the cannabis space important to you? How can the ACR help you in your professional/personal journey? How can you contribute to this movement personally and/or through your company? Please send responses to [email protected] and leave a comment about your experience if you were able to participate! We hope to see you all at the next roundtable session!

This is how policy changes are set into motion, not through social media posts. If you want policy reform you have to show up. You have to put yourself and your voice in front of the people who can make those changes. I am proud of the Women's Cannabis Chamber of Commerce members like Angelita Green, and Luna Stower, who are "walking the talk" on the state and national level. #policyreform #womencultivtingsuccess #ncialobbydays #marijuanareform #cannabislegalization https://lnkd.in/gqSaxT6B
