This year, I have many things to be grateful 🙏 for: family, community, work, etc., but I specifically want to shout out a group of folks that I am thankful for. This was one of the questions CS leaders had when we sat down for a CS leadership dinner hosted by FunnelStory in #Buckhead, #Atlanta, on May 7th, 2024. 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 $ 𝐭𝐨 $$ 𝐭𝐨 $$$ - What does CS leadership look like for between 10-20 Million vs 25-100 Million vs 100 Million to 500 Million? Do you prioritize speed or scale? 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐒-𝐎𝐩𝐬 —Most leaders agreed that using data and building relationships with your RevOps team should start sooner rather than later, eventually culminating in your own CS-Ops team or as one of the leaders said "Center of Excellence." 𝐕𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 —Most CS leaders were skeptical of NPS and even lagging indicators such as NRR/GRR. They've often been in their industry for many years and have hard-earned expertise BUT they either: ❌ Can't articulate it OR ❌ Choose to downplay what they do. But to carve out space in your market and be the industry leader, you need to do the opposite. 💯 Owning what you're an absolute beast at, and using that to create your unmistakable unique selling proposition - then turn it into thought leadership content. The payback is huge: ✅ Increase market share ✅ Recognition from current clients ✅ New customer engagement ✅ Talent acquisition ✅ Business opportunities There is nothing to be gained from downplaying what you're a master at. How did you start your day? I had an inspiring start to my morning at 5:00am as part of a virtual global conference. I joined 1000s virtually as a story telling coach for my team and panelist for the event. The event brought Global Industry Leaders to a single platform - to showcase the best of industry solutions from each center globally. We encouraged teams to participate and share their asset-based industry infused at scale expertise.    From North America CIC we shared 7 success stories from 7 different industries/clients. I had fun jumping between industry breakout sessions dropping the maximum number of emojis ( 👏 👍 🙌 💙 🔥 🎯 ) and comments while the team was presenting. Thank you to the team tagged below and pictures attached that delivered value for our clients and have now shared with other teams globally.     In my panel I shared how we have Built Thought Leadership, activated our assets at a greater pace and scaled our industry badges into steady state. I asked leaders to be nimbler, scale faster and mentor/sponsor those early in their Industry expertise journey.
