Still a career highlight. A 25 min keynote with Will.I.am, that lasted just over an hour. He deconstructed 3 epic songs and showed the difference between collaboration and over collaboration. He showed how removing things from a song makes it better. And he taught us the art of the mumbles. 2022 in London O2. Allison Rocca was my partner in crime for prep, pre show, and was in my eye line for the whole show. I think we nailed it mate? When we put on a teamwork event, we’re not just talking tech. It was an amazing session! He seemed a bit unresponsive at first, but as soon as you started talking to him about his music and creative process, he became unstoppable! 🤣 Now, every time I listen to ‘I Gotta Feeling,’ I think back to that moment, especially the story that led him to add a ‘L’Chaim’ after the second ‘Mazel Tov’!

Yes, that was an absolutely epic session - my number one favourite keynote. I particularly loved it when he played the recording of that mumble track he recorded whilst having breakfast. Goes to show that the creative mind works in all sorts of places. He was so detailed when explaining his creative process, it was just brilliant.

I can only echo all the other comments about how wonderful this session was. Dominic Price you said it was meant to be 20 mins but was over an hour long that time passed so quickly as he had the whole audience (and the waiting staff) engrossed in his stories of how he works as part of many teams. A massive inspiration but also with a very large element of honesty that it is the collective team that makes things happen. Of course I had the photo as well! #Atlassian can we get the recording back please please please as so many people who could not attend need to see this amazing keynote.

Love this, Dominic Price! We have much to learn about collaboration: what works best with whom (including AI agents!), on what project, where, and when (synch and asynch as well as thinking late night jamming sessions--music or not!)--and how best to do it, using different channels/mediums.
