#M2Doc Yet another add-on that adds value to SE community is the ability to generate valuable text artefacts from models that can be customizable. This add-on does it by automating the generation of MS word documents directly from system models, reducing the manual effort and ensuring the consistency between model and documentation and therefore, it enables the cross functional teams to create dynamic model driven content with custom templates thereby ensuring alignment with engineering standards and easier communication across stakeholders- the incremental generation feature allows manual edits without losing model-generated data enhancing flexibility in document management. #MBSE Obeo Capella MBSE Tool #AerospaceEngineering #RequirementsEngineering #SystemsThinking #Capella

Feature Friday: Customizing Verbosity and Documentation Length in Dev-Docs I'm excited to share the latest update we've just rolled out at Dev-Docs. It's all about giving you more control over your documentation. The driver behind this is that we recently heard some of you mention that our AI-generated docs could sometimes be a bit... wordy. 😅 So, we've added a way for you to customize the length and format right in your dev-docs.json file. Now you can choose things like: "1-2 sentences" for those quick overviews "1-2 paragraphs" when you need a bit more detail "3-5 bullet points" for easy scanning We've also set the default to 1-3 sentences to keep things concise. Want to see it in action? Just hit Shift+Cmd+D, and boom! Tailored documentation at your fingertips. 🪄 I'd love to know what you think about this update. Have you given it a try yet? Any other features you'd like to see? Oh, and if you're curious to see how it works, I've put together a quick demo that as always I linked in the comments. Happy documenting 💻✨! #DevDocs #FridayFeature
Feature Friday: Customizing Verbosity and Documentation Length in Dev-Docs 🔧 What's New: Customize the length and format of your AI-generated documentation In the dev-docs.json you can customize your length by specifying options like "1-2 sentences," "1-2 paragraphs," or even "3-5 bullet points". Additionally we now default to 1-3 sentences. Tailor your docs to fit your team's preferences and needs 🚀 How It Works: 1. Use Shift+Cmd+D to generate documentation 2. Access the new "Default Length" option 3. Select your preferred verbosity and format 4. Watch as Dev-Docs creates perfectly tailored documentation! This update addresses user feedback about documentation sometimes being too verbose. Now, whether you prefer concise summaries or detailed explanations, Dev-Docs has got you covered! 💡 Pro Tip: Try the bullet point option for easy-to-scan documentation! Have you tried this new feature yet? We'd love to hear your thoughts! Check out the demo below: https://lnkd.in/gJ3P-5-m #DevDocs #DeveloperTools #FeatureFriday

Today, I conducted a poll with our audience during a webinar featuring Jarod Sickler from Heretto and Mark Hellinger from Videate. The webinar featured a short presentation and demonstration of how to automatically produce video documentation for software products using #DITA #XML content and the Heretto #CCMS." I learned that 70% of tech docs teams that attended today's show produce video documentation, and nearly 15% of those who don't today, plan to do so in the future. Where are you on your video documentation journey? Do you produce video documentation today — or do you want to in the future? Would being able to automatically produce video output from your existing DITA content be beneficial? Watch a recording of today's webinar: https://lnkd.in/gSYk4UXz
