Another weekly "digest" from Bootcamp. Google Cloud Platform is indeed a tricky beast to navigate. While some features are certainly easier and even more fun to use than those on AWS, I feel like there is even MORE mystery and voodoo behind the scenes on GCP. I was able to progress to the Fourth Module in CGP Bootcamp but I am currently stuck trying to launch a Kubernetes cluster. The directions have gotten out of date, which is something to be expected when using so many dependency dependent driven dependencies. Trust me there was no redundancy in that previous statement. So I have decided to shift gears ...
Back to AWS, starting tomorrow. I still have the final project to complete but I am instead going to start over on Module 1, and work my way back through all the lessons again, rebuilding all those projects. If I complete the final project then great! I get a certification from the Bootcamp itself but ... I won't be sweating it if I run into issues again. Rather I am working towards something else ...
CLF-C02 AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, I just signed up to take it next week. Wish me luck! 😅 👍
