When you have a group of achievers huddle together, magic is the expectation for the next round. This topic is incredibly relevant in our rapidly changing healthcare environment. Thanks to Elets eHealth for inviting me. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished panelists who shared their valuable perspectives and expertise, helping us envision a future where technology and healthcare converge to enhance patient care and improve health outcomes. In today's world, technology is revolutionizing the entire healthcare value chain. From gaining a deeper understanding of various health conditions to enhancing efficiency and accessibility, technology facilitates care that is available anytime and anywhere. It plays a pivotal role in early diagnosis, personalized treatments, and much more. 🚀 Thrilled to Share! 🚀 I recently had the incredible opportunity to lead a design session for Piramal Swasthya as it endeavours to supplement the Government of India's vision to meet Universal Health Coverage and contribute to achieving SDG3 (Good Health & Wellbeing). All thanks to Dr. Mithun James and Intekhab Alam for inviting me over. Our session focused on creating user-centric digital products for the unique needs of primary healthcare providers in rural settings. These providers, often the unsung heroes, face numerous challenges—from limited resources to connectivity issues—while delivering crucial healthcare services to rural communities. I drew a lot from my experiences from a similar product and my interactions with anganwadi workers in the Wayanad district. ✨ Key Highlights from the Session: ✅ Empathy-Driven Design: Gaining deep insights into the daily struggles and motivations of rural healthcare providers to create intuitive and effective digital tools. ✅ Simplifying Technology: Developing user-friendly interfaces with basic UI principles that cater to digitally naive users, ensuring accessibility and ease of use. ✅ Design Systems: Highlighting the benefits of design systems for faster implementation and easier handovers. ✅ Sustainable Impact: Focusing on long-term solutions that improve healthcare delivery and outcomes in rural regions. The energy and passion in the room were palpable as we discussed how thoughtful designs can make a tangible difference in the lives of healthcare providers and their patients.
